Excited for these changes in my golf swing to try and get it back to where it was in 2019! It was good to see that Cameron saw the same things in my swing from back then vs right now, I just wasnt sure about the plan of attack to make it happen. Nice to have some structure in what to work on in my swing instead of guessing here and there!

Why were you making swing changes at full speed?
I like this type of content. Not gonna lie, I'm not really all for the challenge type videos, but these types of videos with detailed lessons and the quest for improving the swing are the videos I like to see. This one was a very solid video! Can't wait to see the work from this lesson shine on the course!

Agree. I prefer real player content, not all this gimmicky stuff like spinning a wheel of fortune and playing a bunker shot with a shovel.
Agree for sure definitely gives me a lot of insight and show me what I need to work on as well for some of the things I’m struggling with!
I like it too, but I feel like this is something you can only do so often because of how long it takes to implement this many things into your swing

Luke im 66years old having trouble trying to make a full shoulder turn should i keep working on it
This is about know physics and swing dynamics and being able to apply concepts to the student in the minute- a nice blend and why he is a tour coach- not a club guy spouting some trackman numbers and no real swing / feel/ technique to student! Be curious to see swing dynamics and tips for draw pattern.

That coach was AWESOME! The way he mentions your work with Good Good so respectfully and not like it’s any lesser than from playing pro golf or someone who plays on PGA Tour

Legitimately one of the best videos I've gotten to watch in a while Luke. These are same concepts I've been working on feeling, but trying to create a draw. Feels like a lot of things from this can be applied even when the shot shape is different.

The explanation around 10:30 is why he’s one of the best coaches out there - you wanted to make the move at the top, and he was able to talk you through the logic perfectly. Great content!

Being honest I had my doubts as to how Cameron would approach these videos, because he coaches tour players and everything. But even in this short session you can see he’s giving his full attention, and he doesn’t miss much! One of the best coaching videos I’ve ever seen

Awesome video. Watching an elite level instructor work is the best thing I have watched. You being a high level player working with Cameron and seeing those positions and feels was great to watch. Great video. Keep up the great content. This video might cost me a large amount of money to get one of his lessons one day. Love it.
Granted that your channel predates joining Good Good but I can't help but feel that for the Good Good members, having a video series for each member on their own channel dedicated to getting better would make for great content. Love the video! This is my favorite of the ones you've made.

This is cool man, I'd love to see a follow up video with Cameron in a months time or so to see how easy you found it to go away and continue working on the things he was asking you to do. Would be awesome to see the differences between your first swings with him and the changes you've potentially been able to make.

What a fantastic video. The way Cameron explains what needs to change or happen with also taking into consideration the players thoughts or concerns truly shows how good of a coach he is not only in his commitment to making the player better but also building trust with the player by listening. Best helping video ever I've been trying to get steeper to stop me over drawing the ball but now I know to allow forearms to roll will actually help me get a slight cut fantastic 👍

This type of content is great! I'm not the caliber of golfer who could adjust to the teaching as quickly as you did Luke. And I recognize that you still feel you have to keep working at the lessons you were given. But this was really impressive!.

Really enjoying these videos with Cameron! I’m always amazed at how much a good coach can see as you swing without the need for a video recording. It also shows how slight changes make large improvements. It shows the value of a coach’s analysis and a student’s ability to make the necessary changes.
Love it Kwon this is super helpful for a lot of us too chasing a pull fade.

I like the idea about keeping your leg inside the hip socket as a way to correct yourself and has something to think about for setting up as what not to do.

I've seen quite a few coaching videos, and this is easily one of the best. Most, even with the most famous coaches, seem to feature poorly expressed concepts described in vague half-sentences that are hard to decode. By contrast, Cameron is clear and logical, obviously very technically adept, but also very aware of the specific person he's coaching and how heavily he can load them up with instruction. In this instance it was a pretty magical combination with Luke, who is not just a technical golf nerd, but plainly excellent at grasping and executing the concepts communicated. Great video, Luke.
I agree with you in a lot of ways, but I do think it’s worth it to make a distinction in types of golf lesson videos. Here we have one in which Luke, who is already a high level golfer, receiving very dialed and specific feedback on his swing. Other videos cater more to the general viewer who may benefit more from tweaks to their mindset than seeing specific work be done on a great swing. Just my thoughts, though
@@Corninthesky Not sure I completely understand the distinction you're making but if you're comparing video lessons with a "pupil" vs videos with someone giving general swing advice I'd probably agree with you. However I'm comparing this specifically to other videos that I've seen where, for example, a RUclips golfer has a lesson with a top flight tutor. They often seem to end up somewhat cryptic (either simply through what is being communicated, or perhaps the editing process). This, by contrast, was excellent.

This is great, Luke. I have very similar swing tendencies to take the club back steep, so that i'm able to shallow it better. Have been working on a less steeper backswing and was worried about being laid off as well, but nope, it works great for me

Great instruction from a master instructor. It's amazing how small defects can have such a negative impact on your swing and ball flight. The changes seem little but I'm sure it will take thousands of swings to groove the new correct mechanics. Thanks for sharing.

Had back surgery and it caused me to mentally be afraid to rotate properly on my backswing. I had unknowingly changed my swing and lost 10-15 yards of distance via using a mostly arms only cut swing. Knew something was off. Got a lesson to get another set of eyes on me and I took the new swing suggestions out to the course and played some of the worst golf of my life. Forced myself to stick with the new swing thoughts and movements and a month later I was back to shooting around level par. It took spending hours and hours on the range until the new movement no longer felt “new”. Spot on about golf getting worse before it gets better after a swing change. Keep at it Luke it will pay off.
