- A classic Easter sweet treat in my family, it’s a crowd pleaser to be sure. The flavor of mahleb tastes like home and for those of you who haven’t tried mahleb it has a mild flavor profile of cherry and almond and is absolutely delicious!

I love the way you instruct. Very thorough, yet not overwhelming. Your breakdown is clear, simple and doable. 👍🏻 Thank you for sharing the beautiful skill of Armenian cooking/baking.
Yummy. I am Greek from Egypt and my wife is Armenian. We will nail this amazing recipe on the weekend ❤
I am Egyptian Armenian and I am just about to make these as well. They look so delicious. It great to hear you both did it together, you definitely get through the prepping quicker. Thank you Lara for explaining and teaching us all, how to make these traditional Easter biscuits ♥
@@marianneyag4106 God bless you Maria... 🙏 ❤
I made some today, absolutely delish. Thank you for an easy explanation
Our family loved the video! Trying to reinvigorate our Armenian roots. But thank you and have a blessed Easter!!
I have to make these. They are the same ingredients (different amounts of the mahleb and black seed) that I use in Ketah...of course without the yeast also. I also am not a super fan of choereg. Eating my ketah and your keghkeh with the Armenian string cheese and coffee make a nice breakfast. Hope to meet you sometime. My cousin owned Partamian's bakery in Los Angeles for years; he taught me how to make Lehmajun. So lucky to have people like you on RUclips!
I wish I had the real lahmajoun recipe. it is my favourite dish.what is the spices you use ?
That looks very delicious, perfect snacks to share on Easter. The avocado oil surely gave a good flavor. I like the addition of nuts too.
Slivered almonds on top, perhaps?
Great job, love Easter cookies too.
I can’t wait to make it these with my kids! Definitely prefer these over choreg, too😊
Great presentation skills and also you are good. No need to copare to your sister. you are the one showing us how to make these lovely cookies/breads and you did a fabulous job. All the very best from Canada and Happy Easter to you and your lovely family.
🙏😘
I have been looking for the perfect keghké recipe for a while. All the recipes I have tried in the past have always been challenging and the dough has always given me a hard time (either too hard, or too sticky...). I am very happy I stumbled upon your video. I tried you recipe today and not only was it so easy to make, but these were by far the best keghkés I have ever made/had.
The only thing I left out were the black seeds and sesame seeds (personal preference) and it was perfection ❤
Thank you for sharing! Glad you are enjoying our recipe!
Nice
Happy Easter
Perfect
😍🇸🇾❤️
Good job LARA
Excellent presentation. Better than choreg? neh.......
Apres 😊
Ok good job
These look just like the greek Koulorakia.
Do they called Chorek cookies as well ? Are they krispy ?
Depends on where you're from. My family calls Chorek the brioche like bread and Keghkeh the crunchier cookie, but others call this cookie Chorek as well.
Do you have good recipe for Armenian lavash bread????….Rebeca …..canada
Quick question Lara, what temperature, u didn't mention
Bake it for about 25 minutes at 350°F

Please don't take offense but as a non-Armenian this recipe looks minus all the sugar, would make for very nice breakfast rolls; sort of like a bagel (though of course, the dough is quite different). I'm going to give it a try first the authentic way, then the alternative way.
Please I never get the measurement. I don’t get it. I love this cookie look like wonderful but I need a measurement how many cups flower or butter please give me the measurements thank you and God bless you
The recipe and measurements are in the video description!
Is this the same thing as choreg?
No this is more like a cookie, but we have a choreg recipe on our channel as well!
@@achkichop my grandma always called choreg “keghkeh”, is that the incorrect name then? Keghkeh is like a cookie?
Can u please put the recipe I can't do it with out the measuring
Measurements are all in the video description, check it out!
Please share the ingredients measurements 🙏
