@@RADukura thanks, I see a lot of people buying these 9th gens and only do simple bolt ons or even just leave it stock and lower it on coil overs or bags & add wheels/tires and camber it and end up selling it cause it’s not fast because they only make 179-220whp and get beat by the competition of GTI’s / WRX/STI / BRZ/86 / ST’s. I’ve always Wanted a 9th gen and plan on boosting it in the future. But I wanted to show what these motors can pull stock with FBO’s I want to squeeze close to 250whp, it’s never been done on these with the stock head, people swap the 8th gen k20 head to achieve over 260whp. But we will see how it goes.
Would love to do these mods to my FG4. Unfortunately the most advanced thing I ever did with a car was replace the gauge cluster on my old EJ8 LOL so I'd probably screw a bunch of things up just trying to install a CAI Car is phenomenal btw, that blue is the best color for the FG4
@@IXgenFG4 Yes, but if your engine is original, be careful with high rpm. K24 are not as rotated as k20. At least an oil pump upgrade would be interesting.
@ it’s got the rsx type s oil pump. Odd as it sounds but I’m pushing limiter as much as I can to stress the engine to see if it’s capable of handling. So far so good. These k24 boosted can handle up to 450-500whp. And I got drop in cams as well
@@jordansecco7916 yes, I have a video were I explain all I have done to the engine, Ive put in about 6k just into the engine itself. I do plan on boosting in the near future. Everything on my car is budget parts. And I do plan on boosting with only 2k, I don’t plan on getting the 4-5k kits. I have to get the car retuned at the moment it should be in the realm of 240+whp, I also plan on getting it to a dyno just to verify all I’ve done to it.
