Justin, Great job. I have hated my rims for years. My car was a drug dealers car who ran it through everything from the looks of those rims. It was a police auction car and your video was proof that I really can do something with those rims. Thanks very much for the help

Great video and advice! Another way to minimize drips is to start a spray off the wheel and end the spray off the wheel. I think it is important how to minimize any chemicals going directly to the environment. Why did you not use an etching primer? Overall a very helpful video. Thanks for putting it together.

Great video and very educational. I’d like to attempt this task on my own. Question, if I wanted to do my aluminum rims in black, what would you recommend as far as a brand for gloss and matte black. Thank you very much.
So, when that pesky grimy break dust accumulates on that new painted rim in about one years time, how do you get it off without ruining the paint job? Can you spray that Sonax cleaner on that painted rim, or will that cleaner ruin the paint job?
It looks really good! I've done the same method for painting some old wheels as well, but what I find annoying is that once you get rocks or other stuff hitting the paint it creates nasty scratches that almost "dents" the new paint. Is there any ways around this? Thanks
