I was only six when you guys this played here. Brought back a memory I forgot a had, and I'm extremely happy I found this again. Makes me realize how lucky we were. Best wishes
It's hard to put in to words how I'm feeling after watching this, there is no sweeter sound in the world than children singing together and something as heart felt as this amazing song by the trews brought tears to my eyes! i am sure proud to be Canadian watching this!
brought tears streaming down my eyes, as a soldier, this was touching beyond belief I support my brothers and sisters overeas. This school deserves the rocognition of what they did!
What a beautiful tribute, those precious young voices, raised in song together. Thank you to the members of the Trews, and to the children who sang along with them! I will remember! ❤🍁❤
This is amazing. All those kids singing with them. I'm canadian and live in Toronto and wow is all I can say. This song is touching and to see a entire school singing this song is amazing. This song is for the canadian soldiers. It just moves me. Im only 12 but this is a big thing for me as a Canadian to be proud of. (I met the band and my mom knows the bass player Jack) and I know this song (and other songs by them) off by heart. If I was there I would be singing my heart out to the trews. (no
I heard this song for the first time that afternoon... a group of kids from TM came to the high school to record O Canada, and they asked to sing this song as well
Lest we forget..it warms my heart that these kids learned the words and in the learning, Nicole Goddard and all the fallen before and after her will never be forgotten
I am also Canadian and I love this song. heof wolf you are soo lucky that your mom knows the bass player. I would love to meet them. I would die to meet them. Also seeing all those kids singing almost makes me want to cry. Next open mic night that I go to at the library I am going to sing this song. I will post it on Facebook. I am also in Sea Cadets so I am going to try to get the band to play this song too. Love it :)
The Trews are truly classy guys ! ! I've seen them many times and they never fail to perform ! ! Long Live The Trews ! ! ! I will be seeing them again on Dec. 12th ! !
I love this country.... this song hits you so hard but then kids singing it too was something great to see. Americans seeing this now know where we get our patriotism
this is Epic! two boys at our school covered this song for our rememberence day we did a skit for it, and a slide show, it was the center of our whole presentation. I LOVE the fact that these boys did this!
One song that can bring tears to my eyes every time I hear it. I first saw it on the ABC show "Combat Hospital" a scene for a memorial of a Canadian nurse (a Major) who is killed in an attack of a local clinic for women and children. The end of the show is her memorial with the men and women she worked with coming in by 2s to pay their respects. By the end of the scene I had tears streaming. Not something normal for me. I'm not a soldier but am an EMT/Firefighter so I know about brotherhood
"That" was awesome! Fredericton loves the Trews! Caught the show at the HJ&B in Sept, can't wait for you guys to come back this month to the Playhouse! *SB
I would have a heart attack if you guys walked into my high school gynasium during an assembly! I'm really jealous of these kids! Please come to my school one day! I'm also in BC :)
omg...thats just a little taste of what a JB concert sounds like...but thats pretty awesome...bets lots of older siblings at the highschool were jealous!
It cut off on mobile, which I'm on so I'm re-typing the rest. (no pun intended) The Trews are an amazing, inspiring, Canadian band. I am proud to be Canadian. I am just sooo proud to be the only Trews fan in my school and on of the few in my class that would do this and care about the soilders that protect our country. That is all I have to say. I am proud Canadian and a proud fan of The Trews. -Rebekah (Heof Wolf)
I'm an American, but that doesn't matter. It's still so moving. Simply amazing
This sends chills down my spine and gives me goosebumps every time. As a Canadian Soldier I salute the trews, and the little children.
I think I'm the only one in my school that truly appreciates what the men who serve and protect our beautiful country do.
