The Vikings, Pretty Deadly, even unknown wrestlers from NXT have a higher rating than Austin Theory
It’s not resume. It’s current. As of right now Austin Theory isn’t what he used to be. Story wise

they did it becase it makes sense in kayfabe. He's the current US champ. He's beaten legends like Rey. He's beaten solid upper midcarders like KO. He's tangled with main eventers like Seth and Roman, and walked out of them looking like a million bucks. Sure he cheats to win; he's a heel. Roman cheats, hasn't stopped him from having a frickin' 97 in his Tribal Chief version.

I feel like unmasked Kane should be 99 overall, that dude was an actual monster. However, those iterations of Kane didn't have strong enough booking to be on Taker's level. Now, 97-01 Kane would/should have a high ranking.

Bayley's been on a losing streak. I'd argue Iyo being rated so low is a bigger injustice. She's done nothing but win, and win in style. She should _at least_ be a a 93 like Seth: higher than the midcard champs like Logan or Gunther, but lower than the _real_ champs like Roman and Rhea.

He lost the tag match at CJ and was pinned by Jey at MITB, showing he's not unbeatable. Knocking him down to 97 seems fair.

@@MorAodhan in keyfabe he has beaten John cena clean and whose ranked 94,and has he beaten several other people clean to, I always get mad when people start talking shit saying Roman can't win without help yet they forget when Seth Rollins turned Heel, and joined The Authority he couldn't win none title matches by himself, without J&J security there were even times he straight up ran away, to avoid continuing matches that he was losing in, yet Roman gets more heat than Rollins ever got despite him having a list a guy's he has clean such as John Cena Kevin Owens goldberg Cesaro Rey mysterio, and Daniel Bryan. you know how many guys Seth Rollins beat clean at The time when he was a part of The Authority, one guy that's it in every other match he needed help, yet all The matches he needed help with are still considered his win, because nobody is going to bring up that he cheated like Seth Rollins saying Roman reigns has never beaten him in a title match, and nobody bringing up The fact that he has cheated against Roman to beat him on almost all of does matches, and like how Bobby lashley was mocking drew mcintyre saying how beat him for The WWE Title, yet nobody said anything about how MVP helped him win, you see after a while it doesn't matter how anyone wins, people forget that they will only remember the results of The match, and does states are only thing that matters in WWE2K,and nobody in The last 4 years has better one's than Roman reigns.

i figured out why or possible reason why they are weird, watched an interview with bryan williams with assemble. all to do with the use of resiliency pay back, bryan was sayin somethin bout too many wrestlers had it that probably shouldnt and how much of the game roster had it, now they changed it to only people with 85 overall can use it and to balance it out got rage payback build up finishers quick to hit superfinishers thst cancel out the resiliency use

People not understanding how ratings work is cute. Literally only karrion kross for me is a weird one but a lot of the stats are insignificant, either some are lower than expected so they dont get an auto perk, but their strengths like kicks or aeriel will be super high to help up their rating. Its not simple.

I've said it before, but before judging and changing the roster's ratings, understand that 2K was looking for a new standard for the overall system. The reason numbers are so low this year is that the Resiliency Reliance issue was clear and a lot of stars didn't need it. For balancing purposes, these changes were made. Changes to Resiliency being the fact that Resiliency is now only equippable for stars over 85 in attributes. It makes more sense and I like it better that way.
then why would canonically resilient wrestlers like Johnny Gargano be rated lower than 85?
That still doesn't explain why guys like the Unmasked Kane are so low and Jey Uso and Bray Wyatt are 90. Come on now.

Jey Uso is waay too high he has to be below KO. 85-86 with KO at 87-88. Zayne at 85-87, too.

Before that he was in NXT UK where he held the United Kingdom Championship for 2 years before losing it to Ilja Dragunov with whom he had what I consider to be two absolute modern classics. WTF is wrong with you? Chill out you clown. It's not that deep.
@@greatnessdelton1381 Doesn't really matter. Gunther has looked very dominant in his matches, and he's almost been IC champ for multiple yrs straight. There is no reason why Jey Uso or even Bray Wyatt should both have the same rating as Gunther. If they deserve to be at 90, Gunther should be a 94 at least. Jey hasn't really looked dominant, and he hasn't main evented a lot of PLEs himself.

The overalls don’t matter, it’s what kind of number values are on each Stat . Turning up random stats just to achieve a overall number is not a good way to stay true to the wrestlers abilities and card status for simulation… unless you just want a arcade experience with no realism
In previous years 2K have manually changed the OVRs to appease fans (and sometimes the superstars themselves) who are unhappy with the ratings. I believe they did it with Kofi in 2K22, and they had to do it with Rey's various models in his showcase year because they couldn't have some looking much weaker than others. Looks like this year they might have just let the stats decide the ratings and it's thrown up some crazy looking numbers due to some stats having a much larger weighting on the overall.
@@marcangelus that’s what I’m hoping for , plus more stats to separate individuals more . 2019 had strike speed, grapple speed etc .. those lil things make a difference in the simulation.
