I was in the main camera shot yesterday (middle dude in a white hoodie), and I'll never forget this show. Closest I've been to The Rock, and the guy just has an aura to him. It was awesome to finally see him as a top threat rather than just a promo guy. He came off as a true villain.
Couldn't believe what I was watching at the end (some parents started leaving with their kids). And the whole thing got a standing ovation afterwards. Just incredible stuff on a fantastic show.
They gotta put that belt on Drew. He's cooking right now. A few months ago I absolutely hated this dudes character and now outta no where I don't wanna miss a segment with him. Idk what changed but he's never been better.
The chemistry he has with Punk is great also, those lines they were both throwing at each other were awesome.
Heel or Face.. it doesn’t matter!! This is why the Rock is one of the best and my favorite of all time. I get how people got tired of him cause when he was a face but when they let him do mostly whatever the hell he wants… it’s some of the best stuff you will watch!

This would be perfect actually. The only question is what interference we get on Night 2. I would love Simon's idea to happen even if it makes no sense for Cena and Austin to appear. It would be better than the locker room emptying to take out the Bloodline, but hell, either scenario would go over like a chef's kiss.

You won't be able to get Roman over as a face if hes facing off against the rock. I've already said it a thousand times, cody is losing to roman at wm 40. WWE knows what they're doing and theres a reason why Roman is getting overshadowed and they're giving all of the tv time to the rock. They want you to believe that romans getting overshadowed, and they want you to believe that either rock or seth will turn on their partners, although in rocks case it no longer appears that that's the case. There are other players involved in this storyline that folks aren't thinking about, that will definitely have an impact on the main event at wm 40. Don't want to give it away, but if you're really paying attention you can figure out who the person or persons are that I'm referring to. Just remember we're only half through the bloodline story.

You’ll notice similar people at the front in Chicago almost every time. I don’t know if some of them are personal friends with Punk, but a lot of times he interacts with them. Some of them I’ve seen in AEW when Punk came out in Chicago as well.

Last night felt like Attitude era Roads: excellent drama filled segments, full-episode drawn storylines, and physical altercations after weeks of just talk. Seth got his shots in, and a backstage brawl of all brawls. Incredible stuff leading into Mania.
Wrestlemania 40 would be the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania 15 when Austin defeated The Rock to become Champion in PHILADELPHA!
Nah I'm currently rewatching Attitude Era and 2000 Rock is by far the best version of The Rock, I'm sorry but it just is.
The Rock is the entertainment GOAT of wrestling. Austin will always be the biggest star, but no one could play more roles and do them all hilariously like The Rock. And Rhea and Dominik are just perfect together. Becky and Rhea is great, and people will care because of how good they are. But Dominik's comedic presence just adds such an entertaining aspect to their interactions. Becky constantly cracking him and Rhea having to protect him is something that makes Mami the real heel. Because folks love her too much to boo her when he's not around.
Rock will always be the biggest star simply because his popularity drew in the likes of Hollywood. As great as Austin was, he didn't have the crossover & popular success of the likes of Hogan or Rock.
Within the WWE he was absolutely massive though & it helped to gave Vince McMahon as his Final Boss he had to overcome (although Vince played that role numerous times for others). Stone Cold was just the perfect character for that dynamic gimmick to work.
Raw was near perfect this week. And from a pure fan perspective if tk lets dustin rhodes be at mania to help cody in so way i will never ever again tolerate any tk disrespect or hate. Ill be a tk lover if he allowed that
This has got to be a lot of fun for the Rock. He is always the hero in his movies and this lets him do something completely different. Hollywood pays more, but it is obvious he misses WWE.
Here's the thing about the Cody/Rock Raw ending, if Cody does not whoop Rock just as much in retaliation in the next few weeks or at least at WrestleMania, then this was not good booking.
They might play into the whole final boss thing and have Rock come out after Cody narrowly beats Roman and say ‘ no, if you want that belt, you’ve got to beat me’

A bloodline civil war would be lit. Rock heading one faction as the heel and Roman leading another as a face.
Stoney coming out and handing out some Stunners to the bloodline would be insanity and I am so here for it happening 😮💨
Trouble is Rock has hugely raised the bar on something we thought we where happy with once he has to do the inevitable step back into filming he is gonna leave a huge charisma hole behind. That beat down truely felt personal and fingers crossed the big bucks he must be earning is enough to keep him around. I dunno about him actually singles competing though. He has been sweating his ass off very quickly when called on to do even the smallest of work.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Austin comes back to give him a Stunner. 25 years after their first Wrestlemania match in Philly where this year will be. Symbolically it almost makes too much sense.
There's a universe where Cody and Rock are in cahoots, Cody has told Rock to kick his ass on Raw and make it look real, they get to Bloodline Rules, all the run ins have come and gone, bodies are everywhere and Rock, Roman and Cody are in the ring, Rock appears to be beating Cody down again stood over him with a chair, Roman is completely relaxed, and Rock turns and caves his head in with a chair. It's silly as hell, but will get a MONSTER pop because as good as he's been as a heel everyone wants to love The Rock. Cody finishes the story, Rock is babyface again to go back to Rock vs Roman, and they'll explain it as that being the master plan and the only way to get Roman completely off guard and defenseless in his 122 years as champion.
Or none of that happens because Rock has decided he likes being an asshole.
As much as I don't want to see Cody win because of some shenanigans, I think it devolving into a brawl would be really entertaining.

One thing we all loved about the attitude Era was the wild stunts. Not like crazy dives but my favorite example was when Stone Cold filled Vinces convertible with cement. Stuff like thR is very memorable. Like this raw had some extremely replayable memorable segments. Great to see.

I think we can all agree, that at this point Roman is just the sideshow to what's going on between Cody and The Rock. The Rock has stormed onto the scene and has put Roman in his place and shown the man how to properly build a legitimate feud that people want to tune in for. At this moment, is the night two main event even all that interesting? The face-to-face between Roman and Cody during Smackdown was a snooze. But in the span of five minutes, the Rock has pumped an untold amount of hype into night one.

CM punk or Damien Priest will Walk out holding a championship belt. Either Gunther's or Logan Paul's Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns belt. It would be absolutely perfect if Samoa Joe and Rikishi Show up to instill family law. Nia Jax is added to the bloodline to be intice judgment day. It's really good entertainment, maybe the best since the beginning of the pandemic
I wouldnt want Cena and Austin in the main event night two just because it would take away some of Cody's spotlight in the biggest match of his life so far.

This is not the best version of the Rock ever. Rock in 2000 as the peoples champ, was at his most charismatic, most witty, most athletic and most over. Rock was the most over guy in the history of the business.

Great stuff. I remember a smackdown where tons of super Stars came out and at the end of the show they all hit their finishing move on each other. Big show, Kurt angle, Jericho, Kane, the rock and stone cold. Maybe we can have that happen night two. All these guys get huge pops from Cena, stone cold stunning the rock, and maybe have Brock Lesnar make an appearance if he is going to come back. The crowd would go nuts
