Dear Blues, and Brit Football fans on the whole: We promise to hold her to equal high praise here in the US. Those of us who know her resume, understand the weight of her rumored but more than likely arrival here (though it has not been officially announced). We are SO looking forward to this Juggernaut's arrival to our national squad, we feel like we just won the lottery after a tough last few years.

    • @andrewconrad1277
      @andrewconrad1277 Год назад +1

@@HaytersTV I have to confess that until recently Emma Hayes was a relative unknown to me. After reviewing recent and older interviews she strikes me as an excellent leader, a consummate planner, and an organizer who is not afraid to face and learn from mistakes. I think those qualities will serve her well managing the USWNT. I look forward to see how she handles this transition. Chelsea is in the post season hunt and I do not expect to see Emma Hayes leave Chelsea hanging (see excellent leadership traits). The USWNT is hungry for success after a disappointing showing in the last Olympics and the World Cup and time is growing short for the next Olympics. The biggest challenge may be finding suitable housing for Emma Hayes that is a 1-2 hour commute from the office :) She appears to use this time to moll over various professional challenges.

I think not only will we miss her skills as a manager and the success she has brought, but also her character. The way she seems to really respect the journalist and her players is so refreshing to see and the way she approaches difficult issues or pressing debates in the women's game is so intelligent.
It's so rare to have a manager who is both loved by the players, but also able to maintain that level of ruthlessness and competitiveness.

Emma is totally loyal to Chelsea even when she is leaving, despite some apparent behind the scenes falling out, what is significant is that Chelsea women have had the same manager for 12 Years and they are now totally dominant in the Women's game, whilst the men have operated a revolving door managerial policy and have left themselves mid table. Continuity is the key - look at Liverpool and Man City. Striving for an instant result has left the men's squad in constant flux, whilst the women's team have a firm game plan, set of tactics and ultimate season on season goals.

    Emma Hayes...
The best commentator, the best tv analyst, wsls greatest ever manager, have been wishing wanting waiting for the opportunity to make England woman's football team the greatest ever in the sport, who would have bought home the world cup I have no doubt, especially with the 2 squads full of English girls that we have and are coming through,.
She knows all the players 1st hand, and gets the best out of her players, has the adaptability needed to bring a new, fresh, team for each match ,with many ways of playing utilising not just her favourite 11 girls and would go as far as even being able to do the same with the mens england team or Premier league team and succeed.
She has such a knowledge of the game, just looking at the commentry in game's, where automatically sees the solutions attack wise or defending.
What a travesty it would be to see her take over the USA team, with the crop of would be world beaters In UK, and would leave such a legacy for years to come.

Heaven help any US player that thinks they know better than Emma. She should be just what they need, a new broom to look for skill, tactical awareness and ability to work hard.
Some US commentators seem to think they just need to tinker with the preparation to win the Olympics and that is almost like a World Cup. Outside US some talk of four year cycle, which is more realistic, but misses importance of Olympics to US.
Best wishes to Emma, as she will have to win the battle of expectations first.
WSL needs to take stock too. Only Chelsea in UWCL group stages. Some of the players in French teams, that qualified instead, seemed younger, fitter and had more "football intelligence" just on first impressions, like the US is needing. More to Emma's timing than just Chelsea not coming up with a contract?

*I'm so glad that the next USWNT coach is a person whose native language is English. There is a tendency here in the States that when a person whose mother's language is not English, his or her subordinates take him or her as a joke, and that is what might have happened to Vlatko who is from Macedonia. Besides, there are some players who think that they are sacred cows. Hope that Emma cleans the house.*

Working for Chelsea she has to work pretty much everyday because the players come everyday. If she works for the uswnt she probably still works everyday to some compacity but they don’t have the players as much, only when they come into camps before international games and tournaments and she will be getting paid more

The US treated Hayes poorly during her previous work there.
As much as Brits hate foreigners, America hates them almost as much, and a foreigner-a WOMAN!- training their NATIONAL 'soccer' team will be a match to dynamite.

Lol what made up story are you creating about Emma getting treated poorly in the US? She said the US is where her career started and made her. Her assistant is also from the US and has ties to US Soccer. The USWNT has also won some trophies under a few foreigners like Pia Sundhage.

We love British people. Out of all the countries in the world. We are the closest, and we have more personal friendships than any other country I believe. Our culture, our music everything it’s like a mirror image.

YESSSS! Finally, Java the Hut is going away and giving space for new blood 🩸! Thank God!! New blood is what keeps things going and adjusting to modern times! Too bad she ruined a few lives before she went away (hopefully to a diet farm,) lives like Magdalena’s and Pernille’s, two super awesome players!
