But she was found guilty of tampering with evidence so is not it common to hold a person until sentencing? The judge said she can get out on bail which is $1,500 (it’s 10% deposit of $15,000 is all she needs to pay). So although she will be back to court for sentencing at some point, she is now free to go home.

Plain and simple she is being held so they can have victim impact statements from the guys friends/family. That will be the last time for them to plead their case for maximum punishment on what she was found guilty of. If the prosecution wants V.I.S. then by law they have to have them. She cant be released and then called back in for them. Shes being held bc of that. She will be free. IF ANYTHING the Judge shouldnt of made the date 2 months away.
