I am a RN and I was horrified about this tragedy!! As nurses, we must render timely and appropriate care to our patients, no matter if they are criminals or not. We don't get to choose or pick which patient deserves our care or not. We have to help ALL of them, especially if someone is in obvious distress and pain!! Terrible!!
What's voluntary manslaughter called? Thank you for providing the video evidence. Any doctor or nurse who does not willingly or properly treat a patient is a psychopath and should not have a license.
She obviously came up with her version in anticipation of the interview, she knew she did something wrong. The fact that a nurse would do this is appaling, she is supposed to be a healer. She isnt a corrections officer shes a nurse working in a correctional facility and she should be the one person that will believe someone when they say they are ill, screw the jail the county and her i hope she goes to prison and they get sued. Sick of hearing about addicts dying in jails especially here in my city, we have exactally the same problem understaffing is so severe and they have these orders from the upper management to never take them to a hospital no matter how severe. Addicts are dying in jail more and more now.
The DON has nothing to do with this. She didn't contact a physician because she wasn't really paying attention to what was physically happening to the inmate. There were so many signs that he was in severe distress.
Im totally disgusted by her. Im sure nursing and drs mantra is do no harm and she did the exact opposite. Surely she shouldve read his medical notes if he was causing so many problems. She shouldve got jail & lost her licence.
This woman is unmistakably from South African origin. From her accent and her name. She is cruel, judgemental and has no compassion. Oblivious to the suffering of others. She should not be allowed to work as a nurse.
As a medical professional, imo, Nurse needs to take a very long sabbatical or pick a new profession, you cant let burn-out/fatigue cause you to fail your sworn duty and oath to care. She should have her license suspended indefinitely at the very least. Prayers and peace to the family and this poor man.
Nurse Rachet to the tenth power. As a nurse it not your job to decide who’s faking it and who’s not. You do your diligence anyway. If a patient is faking it, at the very worse it’s just dealing with the the extra paper work, but is far better than the alternative, which is what we are watching here.

But medical told her she wasn't really in labor; when everyone else around her knew she was. Waited until she was crowning to call the ambulance, and then while wheelchairing her down the ramp to the ambulance; the baby came out, hit the ramp, and the cord was tangled up in the wheelchair.
@heidimedel You are correct, I have nene been to prison, but that doesn't change anything. Clearly, you have never seen or experienced the miracle of birth.

This ENRAGES me!! This poor guy died in severe pain, alone in a padded cell. It couldn't get much worse. He was loud...... she said that about 20 times, as if it sounds worse the more times she tells it. He was loud because he was in agony!! This was hard to watch. If she thinks everyone is faking it, why is she even there???? She should be in prison. I am shocked that she got away with this. No loss of licence, no custodial sentence. Don't they write these symptoms down somewhere??? You cannot rely on telling someone at a change over, and not write it up. THIS is what happens, she denies knowing about the ulcers, but if it was written up in his chart, there would be no mistaking it.
This woman is a despicable, atrocious person. She should not be a caregiver. She speaks as if prisoners are animals, and it’s easy to read how much disdain she has for the prisoners. She commented on the poor chap who died as loud and challenging. Not conceding he was having a medical emergency. She is lying. Her communication is filled with attempts to find out what others say and think. She doesn't answer questions honestly. Get rid of her or lock her up.

They just want to go to ER he’s faking it. And then the man dies. So she doesn’t touch inmates if they are agitated or going through a medical emergency like a seizure? Why is she there? How did she become a charge nurse? No remorse; they need to do a true crime show on this devil 👿 . He was going through withdrawals. She knows this. Because she keeps bringing up his drug addict addiction. He definitely was detoxing, and that is a very dangerous situation to be in if not, Car cared for.
She shouldn't be allowed to take care of animals let alone humans
Why on earth did she deny the request to check his vitals ?! That would
have been the first and most logical thing to do ! That poor man suffered
horribly due to her negligence.
She is so obnoxious and annoying 🙄
What’s disgusting is these ppl treat prisoners like this everyday and have many die …they all cover it up
Yes I know, they do exactly this.
Wow! What a horrible nurse!! Im a nurse and I would never EVER refuse to check a patients v/s faking or not!!! That man died alone in pain and scared she need’s her license taken away!! Nurse cratchet!! My condolences to his family😮
The nursing board allowed her to keep her license. She is currently still treating living beings.
Her entire career needs to be investigated‼...No telling what other crimes she's committed❗
True. This can't be her first time.
That’s what I was thinking! How many other people with severe health issues, has this monster caused suffering to?
she's completely oblivious to the heinous neglect she imparted on this man
Many people who are dying from the pain might curse!😢 You wicked woman
When you give someone an ounce of perceived authority, this is the result. She’s a nurse, not a jailer.
Yes all the time. Why I don't like hospitals
Omg, she should have been in jail for life.😮
She knew exactly what he was saying when she said he was loud.
Yes she did ! Funny how she remembers exactly what everyone else was saying but couldn't seem to remember ONE WORD the poor man was screaming in pain about !?
In 1994 this happened to my friend in a Clark county detention and they ignored him as a result his liver failed and passed away, his family received a 2 million dollar settlement. If you call 911 for help you might be the one that could be killed by police or paramedics , I have heard story’s like that.
The 2hospital where i live didnt do anything for 2years when i had a tumor in my intestin and 2cm left to pass air/food.. i suffer like no one should
@@870annie When it comes to these inhuman people they should be watched by a private investigator.

I hope you’re doing okay now 🙏🏻
@@zeroten_femme8717 yes i had surgery at a bigger city bigger hospital but 4hours drive.. need surgery again in 2025
"She shows no signs of guilt." WTH??? Because she doesn't have FEELINGS. She has not one ounce of empathy nor compassion. NOT ONE OUNCE. She's not right in the head.
Neglecting to deliver prompt care or dismissing a patient's concerns is utterly inexcusable. She must be held accountable.
She should have her licenses and all credentials revoked...
This nurse is saying he faked his symptoms moments before his death???😢
Yes,even more disgusting.
That's horrific!! It wasn't just the nurse, but the officers/guards who allowed this man to die. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
This heffa needs to be in prison
She knew, just treating him like a drug addiction, she denid him medical treatment.
Omigod horrible / just looked it up, this nasty nasty disgusting person is still a licensed nurse
I hope the family files a complaint. Someone has to notify the board of nursing.
Really 😢
She should be in jail
@@chantalle7340 They (The Board)are the ones who let her off.
That’s such a miscarriage of justice, for this man, and a sad situation for everyone with medical needs, that get her as their nurse! 🥲
Absolutely heartless! This woman doesn't deserve to be a nurse.
SEND HER TO PRISON! And everyone else Involved! Especially cops who jus threw him in cell and threw blanket over him! this is horrible!
I know I said the same about the CO's. The way they treated him after he was moved in the wheelchair should have brought charges against them also.
Like the ones who deny women medically necessary abortions?
this lady a damn monster she killed him
That nurse believes her own indifferent bulsht! I'm 20 minutes in, and I am appalled. I hope she is in custody with no bail !
So loud = screaming in agony
This is disgusting.
Why did she not engage the Director of Nursing or a Physician?
A patient in severe pain would display loudness due to pain.
The Apartheid still runs deep in this one. Appalling.
@@spinozareader shocking
What a horrible person and incompetent nurse. She should be in jail.
If I would have been on shift I would have checked him. I would have went against her judgement and checked him. Even if it cost me my job. Smh...
I would have also, where I work...we are allowed to and encouraged to use our better judgment also any time someone falls they have to be assessed
What's wrong with people at work????? WOW
What's wrong with the nursing board that did absolutely nothing to this woman? The family should sue them also.
How absolutely horrible!! I hope she’s prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and some!! 😡
Cold, cold, heart.
As a medical professional, imo, Nurse needs to take a very long sabbatical or pick a new profession, you cant let burn-out/fatigue cause you to fail your sworn duty and oath to care. She should have her license suspended indefinitely at the very least. Prayers and peace to the family and this poor man.
This is more than simple burn-out. This is a nurse that literally sees her patients as less than worthy of care.
She needs to pick a prison uniform.
Nurse Rachet to the tenth power. As a nurse it not your job to decide who’s faking it and who’s not. You do your diligence anyway. If a patient is faking it, at the very worse it’s just dealing with the the extra paper work, but is far better than the alternative, which is what we are watching here.
the callousness and high-handedness of this woman - as though she does not regard Mr Wingo as a fellow human being with the same rights and privileges as the rest of us. Following orders? Where does she think she is, and what time period? As the son of a South African, and South African born, I am aghast at how shameful her actions are, and how shameless she is.
This is the problem with every county jail and prison in the country. They always think they are faking it because they want out of jail so they ignore them. How many people have to die because these sorry nurses won't do their job. This nurse should be in prison.
💯
💯💯💯💯🎯🎯🎯🎯 !!!
There's also this perception among conservative Republicans and the corrections industry that inmates aren't human.
@@Libertaro-i2u It's across the whole country. They won't give you a job or anything when you come out and then expect you not to do anything wrong ever again even though you are broke and starving.
if inmates stopped breaking the laws or continue to abuse the system even after locked up then there would be no stereotype of ' always faking it'.
The way people incarcerated are treated is horrendous.
So are their victims...but that's just my opinion
So what im understanding is that if you are in agony and you need medical attention from THIS nurse, you must be quiet and ask politely and if you don't, you are considered "rowdy," and therefore will not get medical attention and will die. O.K.
Also, this nurse does not like people with history of drug use or detoxing. She dismissed ever effort he made to seek help. Disgusting.
@@suzylewis6487Only issue here is Wingo died from a perforated ulcer. That means his abdominal cavity was bathing in stomach acid, which is painful and deadly.
No drugs were found in his system at all.
All she's concerned about is he was being "loud" and "disruptive" and her precious "close-ups"
@@earndoggy wtf are close-ups
@@elainekellogg6345When the prisoner is moved to a cell which is constantly monitored
Wow... None of the Nurses called someone higher than the charge nurse?
ALL the nurses who expressed concern & did nothing...they will lose their license too. Nurses also take an oath & this is at the very least patient abandonment.
😡🤬
She didn't like him, she treated him like trash and he died. She should have at the very least lost her job!! That was cruel!
What just happened? These detectives suck and that nurse should be in prison not out doing nursing.
A nurse without compassion or empathy should not be a Nurse let alone a Nurse in a jail. This mans life mattered and it was not her job to play "Judge, Jury and Executioner"
She corrected the detective.. he ask how was he when he came out of the door ? This monster corrected him.. WHEN HE CAME OUT OF THE CELL .. 😮😮 OK.. MAMN U WORK IN A PRISON... LIKE REALLY??? WHERE ELSE ARE THEY GONNA COME OUT OF..
.
This is not at all uncommon in the jail/prison system. I've witnessed 3 people die from medical neglect. And the pregnant lady and her baby survived luckily. But medical told her she wasn't really in labor; when everyone else around her knew she was. Waited until she was crowning to call the ambulance, and then while wheelchairing her down the ramp to the ambulance; the baby came out, hit the ramp, and the cord was tangled up in the wheelchair.
Why anyone would believe your story is beyond me.
@whataqtify clearly you have never been to prison.
🤷♀️
@heidimedel You are correct, I have nene been to prison, but that doesn't change anything.
Clearly, you have never seen or experienced the miracle of birth.
my brother died in mesa pd felix torres from this. An Ulcer is so painful. SO Painful.
Oh I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother 💔 and in that horrible place. 🤗
She has zero sympathy for this man!
As a nurse I can’t believe she didn’t get her license revoked! How upsetting
The only way she is a nurse at a jail cause no hospital would want her employed
Not true
Hospital's
Nursing homes
Clinics
Are all full with people like her
True words
As a nurse I am sick. She acted like a doctor. And the fact she wouldn’t even hex his vitals??? I am furious. I want a petition to revoke her vitals. He suffered for days.
She wanted to show him who was boss she let him die and that’s not right ‼️‼️
She acted like nothing she did had nothing to do with his death
Yep, some nurses are bullies.
She wouldn’t answer questions directly. 🤦🏽♀️
Wow what a monster. She took an oath…..take her license away. Charge her
This ENRAGES me!!
She should be stripped of her license and put in jail for a long time
This woman is a despicable, atrocious person.
This so called ''Nurse'', Deliberately let Him Die and Should have been charged with murder.
Disgusting!!!! The Board of Nursing needs to investigate her & revoke her license.
