To answer your Quidditch question: In the books, the golden snitch is 150 points, which in many cases wins you the game. So you could be down 100 points but still win the game when your seeker catches the snitch. However, it's also possible to catch the snitch and still lose the game, which happened at the 1994 Quidditch World Cup we witnessed in the 4th book, when Bulgaria caught the snitch, but Ireland still won, because they were already 160 points up at that point.
But in the movies, for some reason, they changed it so that whichever team catches the snitch automatically wins, no matter the score. Which makes every other player obsolete, I dunno why they made that decision.
Also, fun fact: Harry Potter is what first got me into chess some 20 years ago. Looks like I went full circle now

13:28 . . . In collegiate wrestling, you can be down by points during the match, but still win if you pin your opponent. I wrestled for 10 years and I always remember when I was down in points during a match my coach would yell, “We need a big move!”. Now, that phrase is all I hear in my head when I am down material (points) in chess.
This unique situation of being down points, but still being able to win against your opponent, would apply to almost every combat sport.
This is one of the many reasons why I fell in love with chess. You may be down during a match, but you are never out. 🙏🏻

In Quidditch, the first team that catches the snitch ENDS the game. This means that there is no time frame nor limit to any match. The books mention that a game could last months, where players take turns to rest. Only when the golden snitch is successfully captured (by a Seeker's hand, mind you) the match is concluded. The team who did it is rewarded 150 points, but that does not mean victory. If the other team manages to score more points only with the Chasers handling the quaffle (another ball) to the goal posts, say, Team A capture the snitch, but the score was 150 to 160 for team B, team B wins.
The Seeker also has to keep track of the score BEFORE catching the snitch.

In Quidditch a golden snitch is worth 150 points. If you down more than that, even if get the snitch you lose
Thats how Bulgaria lost to Ireland in the Quidditch world cup final in 1994 which was shown in goblet of fire.

Never thought i'd see the day when Harry potter himself would be questioning on how many points the snitch is worth. Becoming a chess wizard really does weird things to people.

At 12:36, Qd3 rather than Qb3 protects the bishop and the pawn, and re-starts your attack on d7.

13:32 In the 1994 Quidditch World Cup, Bulgaria lost the final match by 10 points though the caught the golden snitch.Their opponents Ireland scored soooooooooo many goals that catching the snitch didn't matter.

The most impressive part about the video is Levy finding the M1 with only 2 seconds on the clock after a frenzy of split second decisions.
