Just bought a 2024 SR VC TURBO and love it. No hybrid junk for me! Maintain a CVT trans meticulously and they will live forever. Its an Altima not a Ferrari.....sheesh. You do get ALOT of car for the money and its fast AND economical. 💪
My 19’ is 5 years old in August. Just hit 52k miles and came back last week from its second trip from Tx-Va. averaged 36+ mpg going 75-80mph can’t complain for the power. No issues all these miles besides a washer fluid sensor about 12k miles replaced under bumper-bumper. Solid built, fun to drive, and comfortable!
He's not lying it's not really a sport car. It's just a nice car to commute with I just purchase my car 2 days ago. I like it because it's reliable and it looks nice but don't expect more
The Altima is a mid-size Sedan. More like a family sedan not a sports car. For a commuter and road-trip vehicle does the job pretty good and in a comfortable way. Plenty of room.
They did redo the CVT in 2019 by adding a traditional torque converter reprogramming the software and adding some other more durable parts to it I have one in a 2019 Altima and I have just at 100,000 miles and all I've done is the fluid changes every 30,000 miles and it hasn't given me any problems.
Nissan added a traditional torque converter to the CVT in 2019 and did some reprogramming and other more beefy parts and they are very dependable I have one in a 2019 and I'm just sort of 100,000 Mi and it still works perfectly just been doing my fluid changes when recommended every 30,000 miles.
No it's dependable and more responsive. Nissan added a torque converter in 19' so that helped with durability. Mine has just short of 100,000 miles on it on my 2019 and all I've done is routine fluid changes and it still works perfectly.
@@devinthierault I'm not real clear what you're trying to say. From 2019 up the CVT simulates an 8-speed transmission. Simulate / fake shifting. At the end of the day it's still a one speed transmission. So yes fake. Mine has over 100 thousand and still performs fine.
You're missing out then the newer Altimas are really great cars I have a 2019 with almost 100,000 Mi on it and all I've done is the preventive maintenance and I've had no issues and it gets really great gas mileage. I'll be sure to honk and wave at you on the way by 😅👍
I have a 2016 Altima and it is weird seeing all of the subpar stuff from my car in a $35k+ car from 2023. (especially that backup camera) Also mine is at the dealership because the transmission is slipping 🙃
I bought the same premium package 3-4 months ago. The vehicle just reached 10,000 miles and I’ve already spent 12 hours in the service department replacing defective seats, oil changes, my tires are all done for, and other issues like the sensors popping out and stereo audio needing a update. I was also charged $20,000 over the sticker price of $33,000. Don’t get me wrong, everything else about the car has been great, it’s those little kinks and defects that make it a nightmare. If you don’t want the aggravation of maintenance and long waits, get a different model or brand. I planned on trading it up after 20,000 miles anyways, but the car couldn’t make it that long without maintenance and repairs. I wash/rinse and vacuum the car daily and there have been little to no passengers. If you don’t have ocd or you have a family, the car will surly fall apart. After 3 months do you know what my trade up value is on a $47,000 car…? $23,000……. I still have the tape on the gas tank button and trunk button and the stickers on the rims.. I’m willing to admit I don’t know much about equity and the trade in value may increase over time, but even then by the time you have positive equity your mileage will be the main cause of depreciation, so it’s a loose loose on the 23 Altima Sr premium package. It has to be the most depreciating vehicle on the market.
Cant wait to see these in 10 years completely dented up with a mismatched colored doors and going over 100mph in the right lane while some generic rap music is blaring over blown out speakers. That is if the cvt even lasts that long which i doubt
Your a real winner huh? Maybe you should take the time to do some studying on the products you comment on if you would have studied this car you have known that since 2019 Nissan redesign their CVT transmissions by adding a traditional torque converter and more durable Parts along with better software programming. My 2019 is all original, just change the fluid every 30 thousand and it will surely be going strong 10+ my guy. You can't put a stereotype or label on a certain brand of car just because black people don't know how to take care of their s*** and Wreck-It into everything lol.
The Altima should have a dimming rear mirror it doesn’t….iIt should have rear LED lights it doesn’t …… It should have ventilated seats at this price point it doesn’t……stop cutting corners nissan
You guys saying that the “CVT is bad.” Nissan has improved their trans. Its smooth and reliable.

Got a 19' with 93 thousand on the clock, still a solid car so far.
Big Altima Energy.

The 6th gen was my favorite. Own a 2020 and I love it.
The best looking and performing Altima was definitely the 3rd generation 05/06 Altima SE or SE-R with the 3.5 🔥 that car was badass‼️

My friend has hit 164mph in his, completely stock w a tune
the car looks good 👍
No taste
Npc ahh comment 💀
I remember when the 1st and 2nd gen was all the rage. Not anymore.
I miss nissan veing a legitamate contender alongside honda and toyota. I wish they would redo that CVT or just opt for an automatic like mazda does.

That horn thing really had me cracking up you said sounds like it’s running out of breath 😭 but I do like the car it looks good 👍 7:37
Yes raised up back and but the trunk interior height is pretty good. Also I agree the exterior should stand out from the Sentra.
I love my 2023 altima.
Ik he only does new cars but i wanna see him get his hands on a 2014 focus st
4th gen is by far my favorite
I won’t buy anything with a CVT but it’s a good looking car.

So you are choosing theft, fires and a lot of use of that 10 year warranty huh? I think not

@@doom9344 It´s weird because here in Europe we have no problems with Hyundai and Kia, it looks for me that this is a US problem?
I really need window guards for when it rains and I can't find them. Any suggestions,?
Actually a pretty nice car, is the CVT still as bad as it’s always been or did it get better considering this is 2023 model?
I’ve watched a lot of people review this car and they have all said the cat feels way more responsive.

Its not faking shifts. Faking shifts is one of the big things about cvt failure. If you get one just make sure you're covered you know?

Yes
