I think beauty and caring for how you look- the effort required- is important to portray for my own self, my husband, family, and my friends. I always embraced the idea of the "third piece" without being conscious of it -- scarves! Working in a cold office, it was a necessity but also became my 'signature' look. A great fitting jacket also works wonders!

I think this is my favorite video by you so far
I love that you described the "third piece" as a hero piece. I'm not a very "fussy" dresser (i.e. I'm probably practical to a fault). So while I love style and to express myself through clothes, sometimes my outfits have felt a bit lackluster to me because I didn't layer/wear a hat/wear a ton of jewelry, etc. to get that "third piece." But now I try to have more "hero" pieces--a really cool bag, a pair of statement earrings, a really interesting pair of shoes, etc. It makes me feel more stylish and put together :)

I am not ordinarily a YT commenter but I do wish to say I discovered this channel and after seeing many of Bethanys videos these are the most inspiring and impactful fashion vlogs I have yet to come across. Spent the weekend enamored in the overall style reviewed here. Just arrived home spending a Sunday finding additional key pieces that include linen pieces that will fit into what I already have. My wardrobe feels alive and invigorated and because of these videos discovered a style that I love but did not yet quite know how to incorporate. Thank you Dearly Bethany for allowing me to find a side of my personal style that has been waiting to show itself. Best weekend ever! 💛💛💛
