Good topic i tried to cut some of the bridges out of the silcone. This allows the tire to crush easily in a few places vs all over. Giving good sidewall strength in like 75% of the tire but also having a few opportunities for the tire to collapse. Still playing with ideas. Good video!
I’m really liking the body on that. I made a topless Jeep with deadbolt interior and rollbar but this look is awesome. And now you can slow crawl and trail truck it with the all in one piece! 👍😮
The one thing I've noticed about the cedar motor and a lot of other Motors that are on the market they are trying to get that super ultra butter startup in the spacing in the string and size of the magnet really affects the torque of the motor Holmes Hobby is it very good when to listen to when it comes to this so far I have tried every motor on the market I got a couple others coming and there's none of them that have the tour to the example of the bam motor from mofo RC and I want to try a couple other higher KV Motors just to see because you've heard that expression bolt up in gear down while it also kind of works similar bars KB I feel like and I've heard Holmes talk about that you know homes hobby they wrap their own Motors and everything and now he is going to do his own magnetics he is really really good step another thing I noticed with the Cedar and the HP transmission it made that motor a lot stronger it made every motor not want to jump when put into a Vine it just kept pushing
So cool! But you're right, were all going to deadbolt fronts and it only leaves room for a Pancake/Fat Viper. Im not sure if id even use one if i had it
Mine isn't working too great. I ended up buying a new LCG chassis, ISO's, skid, driveshafts and all are buttery smooth. The motor is heating up to like 150° at times. Wheels aren't torqued or anything. Sometimes doesn't even work, just beeps.
I've not finished the video yet, but that slow crawl looks stuttery. I'm so glad Furitek are getting competitors as they really do price their stuff at silly prices. In your honest opinion, if price wasn't an issue but value for money is, what set up would you use? Also, these wpl c24s are great for £28 lol. Mines is already brushless with all the cheap tat upgrades you can get
@@DesignedRhyme I’m running Furitek every time in 1/24s. I think the stuttering you may see on this one is tire slip or the tires hitting the body cause it don’t stutter at all. I’ve ran everything and Furitek is without a doubt best for me. I have a bktt esc in my mofo build now that stutters like crazy. It’s getting swapped to a lizard soon. Now for 1/10 it’s another story lol
@2fmrc you'd chose furitek over injora for value for money? Interesting. Obviously, Furitek is the best when it comes to ESC's, but I really like the viper. Again, the Cedar is superior, but for value & for a fun build, I'd pick injora. Maybe I'm just a fan fanboi when it comes to Furitek competitors, lol Where are your vids on the c24? I wanna see what you've done & copy some of your ideas 😀
@@DesignedRhyme if Injora would make theirs much smaller I’d definitely consider it more often. It don’t fit a lot of tight builds well with its size. Their am32 based esc has been the only one to work real well for me. So they did well with that apparently but I still prefer the Bluetooth tuning with the Furitek app and really like the smaller size of their esc. Even the integration setups are smaller than the Injora atm so that’s really the reason I’d pick the Furitek.
Man i really love the all in one concept like the fusion but im forced to run it backwards with an angled skid it'll be like the damn titanic. Not sure how that'll effect the COG Still love it though, contiplating purchasing one.
Weight distribution (front/back) is simply not an issue with the various parts available. So a rear facing motor, and a battery tucked in front of it seems like a fine choice. I might consider a BEC... Yeah, it's got a good one, but i figure out might help it last longer.
@@blackwaterrc it definitely wouldn’t with the motor forward. I have the LGRP motor in mine and it hits the servo sometimes. It should work facing the rear though. It’ll just stick up a bit being that the skid is angled forward so much.
Why would they do something that stupid why would they abandon that V2 set up knowing it was great I don't get people's understanding their ideal of product do you know and I don't think that's really expensive for what you're getting I really don't
This was one of my favorite videos I've seen in a while! Loving the additions to the course too! Keep it up!
I love all the work you have done to the course!
Finally!!! It’s here.
Definitely going to pick one up for sure!

Periods would be super helpful here. Lots of good information there I’m sure, but the comment is extremely hard to follow as is.
Is the hard park transmission geared lower than a stovk scx24 trans. How does it help the cedar?
This channel is so underrated!
@@frankie2499 appreciate that so much 🙏
Agreed!
The Bluetooth is so nice. Python RXF with cedar is awesome but it’s so big.

Great video man! Do you perhaps know if it will fit a stock fms fcx24m?
No. Gonna need a motor mount and different pinion.
