Man, the animation in this game is on point and the music perfectly fits the levels. It's the only beat'em up game that actually had a fair set of moves that allowed you to create your own play style. Perfect mix of beat'em up meets fighting game.
Wow blast from the past! Loved the ability to swap body parts, mixing the gameplay up completely. I always felt like such a badass. Thanks for uploading!
I remember someone brought this game over to a party and we had so much fun playing it. The fact you could create your own robot and fight with it in arcade beat’m up style was just so cool. An underrated and hidden gem for sure!
I fucking hated this game, but I didnt have many at that moment. The turning point was the day I rip sum dudes arm by accident and found out bout that mechanic.
I just picked this up today. I remember my grandmother got it for me a long time ago when I was a kid. I'm a lot better at it now after a first try since decades ago. This game is the stuff that Sega was all about back in the day. Graphics were nice enough for the imagination. Good color pallets. Smooth playing if you can time things right.
Holy crap, I loved this game as a kid; sadly tough, the cartridge that we had was buggy as hell and we never got past the second level at tops. The "pulling infinite torsos out of thin air" bug was fun for a while, but we ended up focusing on 1v1 combat, and tearing your sibling's hand off and using it against them was about the raddest thing ever.
This game has great control, great story, and the game-play mechanics are genius. They must have known they had a hit on their hands when they were making this one.
The song from the first level, I still sing to this day. This game is a core memory. I wish someone would remake it and make it coop online so I could play with my brother again
@@outoftouchnetwork dude, i have spent years trying to remember this game and the only thing i had to go by was it was a robot game where you can change body parts and there was a hole i couldn't jump over lol
вот уж кого не ожидал тут увидеть) Идея у игры супер, но не дожали по механике и разнообразности гемплея, слишком однообразная и с малым количеством контента. Уровни друг от друга практически не отличаются, меняется только фон.
I loved this game as a child. Gives me good memories. I remember I was unable to jump the long gap and then had to reset the game and choose different legs. Funny a game would be broken like that, but this game gives nice childhood space memories.
I used to love this game. Swapping parts was always fun even if the game became repetitive. The ending always made me laugh with the cyborg dance party.
I really enjoyed this game when it came out on the Genesis, though looking at it now it looks like a tech demo more than a game. Once you learn how to rip off limbs and torso it becomes a shockingly easy game even at hardest difficultly because all cyborgs fight with the same pattern. All you have to do is walk into the enemy, and for some reason 9/10 times the enemy cyborg will go for a shoulder attack, which leaves a window of opportunity to press back and A. Wash, rinse, repeat -- always repeat.
Cyborg Justice looks much better than the game the critics described in magazine reviews back then. Cool music, and sound effects right out of Gladiator the game from Taito. Nice animation and reminds me of a beat 'em up game. I never saw it in stores though.
I loved this game as a kid in the early 90s. Forgot it even existed til I saw this video. I remember how it reminded me of the Mutant League sports games back then. The character models. Great game.
I remember playing this as a kid and being extremely mad that I never could beat it. Even playing it now, I still can't finish it. The controls are so wonky it makes it a pain the ass to do most of the badass arm-ripping.
The controls are perfect. Beating the final boss though, never did it. But could get to him every playthrough easily and finding new ways to rip everything into pieces and customize yourself in new weird ways was so epic.
Cyborgs as well as justice!? I defy you to get more 80's than that! Really smooth animation, and this is the first game ive seen where you can re-assemble your enemies to crush them again and again. Thats fucking metal as fuck!
it was 1994 .. my brother (4 years old) and I (5 years old) spent afternoons trying to beat the final boss .. The satisfaction of having finished the game .. One of the few games I remember from the Sega Mega Drive. . That memories ..
The best example of when presentation matters. 25 years ago i saw this one in a game-rent store, tried it - and thought it was garbage. The guy who ran the game department at the store also tried it - and judging by what i saw as he tried - it was not worth it. Fast forward to today, when all the well known Megadrive games have long exhausted their replayability - i saw this on another channel, and according to the reviewer there - it was not a good game either. Then i went to "World of Longplays", cause i wanted to see someone play it properly, - and then decide. And guess what, now i know that it definitely is worth a shot. Presentation matters.

What a funky soundtrack. Also, I love the walk animation, all the characters have this strut like they just got laid, it's hilarious.
Great, now I can't look at them walk without laughing.
ahahahhaahahah 'just got laid' strut LOL
Мейсу Семпай lol I always thought it was awesome how they walked.

This game really deserves a modern remake. It honestly holds up in its own way still.
Was definitely one of the better games too!
Love it as a kid
