🍳 In the kitchen, marvel at a thrift store find turned into a sink and range station, exuding a white, roughed-up aesthetic that Alexa adores. The sink, a gift from her grandfather, holds sentimental value, being sourced from a 1974 Volkswagen camper van. Alexa's frugality shines through in her choices, from the economical Amazon faucet to the practical hot plate, ensuring her culinary space is both charming and functional.
🔌 Embrace simplicity in power and water systems, with the bus running on 120 volts and hooked to shore power like an RV. The gray water holding tank underneath the bus exemplifies efficient tiny living.
🛏️ Explore the open-concept living area, featuring a multi-purpose bed, an upcycled dresser from Alexa’s parents, and a desk art area crafted from pine from her parents' property. The bus’s rustic charm is enhanced by tongue and groove wood from an old barn, used for the outdoor door and complemented by a basic composting toilet.
📚 Alexa’s passion for reading and art is evident in her mini library and cozy bathtub area. The DIY rhombus cube tile design in the bath, using recycled tiles from her granny’s bathroom, showcases her artistic flair and resourcefulness.

Your bus conversion is one of the most unique yet practical designs I've seen on you tube. I love it. I never thought of having a bathtub in a bus conversion. But as you stated it is an RV bathtub, and it just makes sense. Plus, having no walls really gives the sense of an open and roomy living space. 👍

Sweet tile work. You could add a shower curtain over the tub, as an option and a place to hang wet things inside. A tub is a luxury, and that is so nice.

Yes, I loved it. This is the prettiest bus conversion I've seen. I love all the light from the windows & that the bed isn't shoved in the back. The furniture & cabinetry are beautiful. The way you conceal your toilet is clever & pretty as well. The bath tub is adorable. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This is very neat. Are you of the usa? I built a self standing (not attached) box of a very small mini modular, in my garage. My home that is not attached to my garage is over 105 years old. I call this my "tinkerers box. Definitely a learning experience. I'm now working slowly on a small not attached greenhouse on the side of my house. I'm still debating whether I will leave it there for the winter or move it in to the garage. I would have liked to have found a small bus like yours. It would go good with my teaching degree.

I prefer a bath tub as well. It can be a sink or can be a place to wash your clothes. I also mostly take my showers crauching so a shower isn’t a nessesity to me. Love the bus how it’s not ikea all the way. It’s made with attention and love. She is living my dream and i wish her the best 🩵

This is almost exactly how I envisioned my future bus build! I love it so much! On my end though, would add 2 more seats for my child and maybe spouse (but don't really want him to come along...cuz I like my own adventures!)

My Dad left his bus to me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish what we started. We, well the whole family, are artists. Dad wanted to travel around doing what we do and like I said it never got finished and too much life happened and I couldn't keep it. I hope to one day fulfill our dream and do it. Loving your work too.

That must hurt your heart to imagine that for the rest of your life, you blew your dad's happiness away. Basically it was your dad's project for you not to be able to do anything with it after he died. Hopefully you sold it to a person who can actually appreciate your dad's legacy.
