I can, but it might be awhile until I am able to get around to it. For now, I can tell you that my layout is run with two Digitrax Zephyrs in addition to a DC controller that provides power to the lighting and the Atlas snap switches. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! The station was kitbashed from various kits by Faller and Walthers. I too really like commuter rail, and think it's something that not a lot of modelers focus on for some reason.
For years I had wanted to have an elevated platform until last year when I saw that Walthers released one in 2017 for the 2018’ year. Faller had one as well, but it has been discontinued. The Walthers one looks good but needs some meat on it, so I’m thinking of adding two Faller modern elevator kits (the tall ones) to each side as well as light posts, platform clocks and restrooms. I will and have already staged out the placement for the ground level track and platform. Will still probably use a separate structure as the station, but yours works very nicely as both, so I may want to reconsider.
V12 Productions Never mind the faller station is still in production. I looked it up on Walthers recently, and returned no results. But it is in the 2019’ catalog.
That station is the focal point of your layout in my opinion.....Was this a kit you built it from or was this completely scratch built? This would be something that I would love to have on my new upcoming layout as I am a sucker for passenger/commuter trains and love stations....especially with a bus terminal attached....which is pretty much all I see in Chicago!
I think HO wiring is some of the easiest there is. It's a great way to get some basic experience in electrical work, and you can always take on more complex projects as your skill level increases.
V12 Productions do you live anywhere close to Florida? I will love to do that to my layout. what's your charge? the problem is I don't have that touch.
Late to the game. The new station looks awesome! I did find humor in the fact that a station was torn down and rebuilt in short manor, but the city is dragging their feet on the repair in front of it. 🤣
I love the "move that bus" scene. It opens your eyes to an amazing HO city. Keep up your great work.
Beautiful work! The elevated station scene looks very realistic and reminds me of similar scenes in the northeast that I saw as a kid.
Incredable, love the deconstruction to show the steps involved, masterfully done sir.

Well built. Excellent video, extremely inspiring, love your ideas & your layout! Go Amtrak!👍
Thanks!!
Thank you! I partially based it off of pictures I have seen of similar stations in the New York City area.
Nice job on the elevated station. Also nice strobe lights on your red F40PH

Thanks. Mine actually combines parts from the Faller elevated station with parts from an old Walthers platform shelter kit.

Walthers Trains channel use this same song in their video titled “Metroliner.” BTW those metroliners they made are sharp! I’ll have to get some.
That looks amazing!
No problem. Somehow I think America has more trains and light rail services than Canada (including short lines), but either way, their fantastic!

This is a Bachmann model that I custom painted in my fictional commuter railroad paint scheme. I'm not sure where it originally came from though.
Can you do a video on how you run your trains?
