This is the work of a true craftsman of RR and Subway RR modelling. Thanks. Very nice layout,and instruction video. I liked the way you scratch built the station from your photographs of a real station. I use to take the F Train when I lived in NYC,a long time ago. I was born,and grew up in Queens. I miss the NYC Subway.Mmmmmmmm
Paulietree1 you shouldn't worry about how and why when you built your EL. Whatever it takes was the motto in real life and truly that's what it takes. NYC subway cars are not mass produced in N scale, but I'm going to kit bash some Japanese stuff to do it right. For the tracks I'm going to do Atlas on a bunch of styrene.
Very, very well done and informative Paulie! Perhaps I shouldn't tell you this, but I drove up to NYC in early August, and I forgot to call you. If it means anything, I was there only four days. Driving back was far easier than driving North which almost killed me. I must remember that I'm not 29 anymore. Not really Tim. The city is still doing renovations on the F line. This weekend, as with nearly half the weekends in the last year, there are buses running from Church Avenue to Coney Island and back (the elevated portion of the F line.) If the city wants to send me something from their capital budget, I'll be happy to renovate my stations.
I'm working on a working model of a wooden roller coaster and a rearrangement of my amusement park. When I'm done I'll make a new video, but between business and family it's been a little hard to find time. It should be done right after the Holidays.

Holy Cow. The Holy grail of model railroading. Kudos. I'm doing a elevated track from the New York City area in N scale.
If you have as much fun as I had making my El & stations you're in for a great time.
