Looks like you made it with plastic tubing, nails, wood, and copper. 1000x better that anything you can buy at Target or Walmart or whatever. I love stuff like this. Making stuff with your hands is so much more rewarding than putting pre-made pieces together by following plans.
That's genious! You've solved my biggest issue, which is finding a way to securely hold the rails in place. The cross-tie bits on my old SpaceWarp sets got too brittle to use, which is what will happen to my SpaceRail pieces, and I've to devise a way to make this with more permanence.
There's lots of interesting ideas here : use of plastics is good for noise reduction, also using nails on plastics and wood doesn't require as much hardware than usual metal structures, also the magnetic trail is ingenious ^^
reminds me of the machines in the movie "Fracture" if you've ever seen it. very nice job! takes alot of thinking, especially love the switching sections! it would make a very nice conversation piece in a room if its quiet enough
OMG. Dude, you seriously have a talent here! You show put your machines on the market! Great job, great job! I LOVE IT! You did a super-fantasic-out of this world job! More, more! I really love it! Keep it up! =D
@Specialer1 The balls are not magnetic, just regular steel balls. Part of the track uses magnetic tape. The cost of materials is about 60 bucks, the gear head motor was the most expensive part at around 20, the wire, polyurethane tube and wood ran about 40.
i've found you 11 years later!! you have save my life!!!! thanks... greatings from Santa Fe city, Argentina.
A childhood classic, glad I came back 😊
This totally blew me away 12 years ago. No wonder I'm still obsessed with marbles....

Amazing cool! Loved the music that went with the video as well. As a reformed pinball machine addict, this is really great!
you are a genius! i have never seen anything as amazing as that, except those marble-and-track playsets, but this is the way adults do it!

Really love it! One way you could ship the marble run is to get a box and stuff as much packing peanuts in it as you can.
Wish I could buy it!
