She got the last laugh, it was her being herself and standing out from the crowd that got her more famous than the majority of them. Jojo was unique and wasn’t afraid of being different, all the other girls just had the same old look and style with similar personality’s trying to fit in and be cool. I’m so glad she never changed for anybody and didn’t let it get to her, she’s an influence to all that being yourself is the best thing you can be, it got her places.

I felt so bad for JoJo. She was always sweet to all the girls, and always was there for them. And Abby treated her the worst. And years later, JoJo was THE ONLY ONE WHO VISITED ABBY. In the hospital. I think this was wrong of Abby to do. I think people don’t like her now, cuz she does not act her age, but WHO CARES? She seems like a rly nice girl.

I think JoJo was very brave by standing their and taking in all of those hurtful words. She stood there like a champ and she deserved that spot on the team because her dedication was an inspiration for everyone. Some people might think that she is too loud and obnoxious and is way to crazy, but that is her personality and no one can ever take that away. She was born to be herself and she never has had to please anybody just for their pleasure. The good thing that came out of this was she came to be respected by her team and made so many life long friends.

That must have been so hard for JoJo. To have to stand there and listen to your friends critique you without being able to say anything back. I give her a lot of credit, she stood her ground. Not only that, but they made a lot of comments about her personality. JoJo’s loud and crazy, that’s who she is and that’s how she’s always been. That’s how I was when I was younger, and if my friends told me that my personality was one of the reasons I shouldn’t be included, I’d be heartbroken.

Honestly respect for jojo. For how old she was, she handled that the best way she could and she really did deserve that jacket.
Jojo is my inspiration I can’t tell you how many times I have been told “you’re loud” “you’re crazy” and “you’re annoying” and I can’t rlly help it bc I’m just born that way. And I think Jojo has gotten that said to her so many times throughout her career, and she’s always worked through it, and always came through stronger. I really relate to her and she inspires me. She’s such a strong person and I hope she never loses her spark and energy.

I wasn’t a big fan of the “taking opportunities from people who have been here longer” reason. It’s not about how long you have been somewhere. It’s about what you put forward. Especially in a competitive environment. If someone can do it better than you, then you won’t be chosen. It’s up to you to either work your way up, or fall behind the others who are working hard too.

Jojo was able to get multiple solos, Kalani was kinda like Abby’s second favorite. Maddie is the most favored girl by Abby. Mackenzie doesn’t get that much spotlight. EXACTLY!! I really didn’t like them in this clip, especially Nia. The amount of time you spend on the team doesn’t control how many opportunities you get. If someone comes in and does it better, then obviously the new person is going to get it. You can’t reserve opportunities lmao. I think that Nia maybe could’ve worded it differently because it honestly came off a little bratty.
Abby just didn’t like Nia because she was black. Nia was one of the best dancers on the team.

When I was a younger, i was constantly told by classmates that I was too happy. Or they would ask me why I smiled so much. The constant tearing down of my happiness really affected me in my later years. I'm now 25 years old and I'm really trying to blossom and bring back my happy attitude, but it's so hard. After being torn down so much for my positive personality, it really hurt. I suffer from serious anxiety and depression issues. If I could go back in time and tell my younger self one thing it would be that my happy personality is not something to hate about myself. And to not listen to all the negative people at school.

Honestly Nia shouldn’t have put that jojo takes opportunity’s from other people who have been there longer because it’s not jojos decision to take it away from somebody else it’s Abby’s decision.
I have never agreed so much. First of all, it's Abby's decision, not JoJo's. Second, Abby gives those opportunities to good dancers, or the dancers she feels are good the role or winning. It shouldn't really matter who's been here longer, it should matter who's a better dancer because that's what Abby wants. Fantastic dancers.
I think Nia was just experiencing some jealousy because she often got pushed to the side especially when new dancers were brought in.

I think that on the team, it's every girl for herself, and I don't really think that ANYONE would actually step aside for another team member, even though they are friends.
Honestly I liked that Nia said that because yeah it’s technically Abby’s choice but Nia didn’t say anything mean about jojo or specifically hurtful, what she said was somewhat of a decoy

As much as I love Nia I didn’t like how she said Jojo was “taking opportunities from ppl who were here before her.” That was Abby’s decision to make. Same with everyone else. Like I’m glad they were honest but dang? Jojo seemed so nice!

I really like Nia and Holly but loyalty just isn’t that important in this industry - Abby has proven that time and time again by giving opportunities to new dancers over her “loyal” dancers. Now and Holly only stayed for the opportunities lifetime gave them by being on the show and giving Nia a “music career”. Again I like them, very level headed people and really nice but I don’t think they were in ALDC for the wrong reasons - if Abby isn’t giving your kid opportunities or respecting her, go somewhere else where she can get proper training. The mums all had the same argument but Nia was overlooked the most so why would you stay if that were the case? Loyalty just isn’t a good enough reason
