Everyone talks about how jojo acts “younger than her age” but honestly she really is so mature. To keep her composure and respectfully ask for a solo, while also holding it together during lunch with her grandma, it’s so admirable of her to be so brave and composed at such a young age.

YES! She showed her maturity over and over again. But ppl saw the bows, the cutesy, the silly on YT, etc and decided she was immature. Then she just kept moving up with her singing & nickelodeon deal, and then more. She found what worked to get her where she wanted to be, made it her brand, and ran with it. I was often blown away by how mature she was. Her mom was kind of messy at first, but that was her job, literally. Ppl forget that the moms were supposed to create drama. That was quite literally their job. Jojo was/is very talented & very hard working. She often showed maturity during all of the drama. She was still a kid and had her moments, but she was VERY mature.
I think people also forget that she was always kinda stuck having to act younger. That was her brand. It's what got her famous. She had to appeal to children

I cried when Jojo hugged her grandmother after the dance :( I love Jojo and her energy because she inspires lots of little girls to be theirselves and she doesn't care if she gets made fun of. She is an inspiring person and honestly, she is the successful dancer out of all the girls

I think abby appreciated that jojo asked for the solo herself and explained her reasons calmly, she even tried to stop herself crying. Abby doesn't like when the mother's speak for their children so I think she was happy that jojo took the initiative

One of the biggest Dance Moms robberies is that this solo didn’t place. Yes, her technique was never great, but this is one of my favorite Dance Moms solos just because of what it meant to Jojo and her family. I bet her grandmother is up in heaven and very proud of what she’s doing now

This is such a beautiful tribute to her grandmother. I think Abby did a great job with the choreo, but especially the music. It felt like the perfect words and melody to JoJo's flawless execution.

You should go see your grandma soon because I met my grandpa but I only saw him once he died a long time ago when I was a little kid and I'm pretty sure you will be happy when you meet your grandma before she passes I'm not trying to wish that on you. I just really think it's best if you go visit your grandma even though there's a lot of stuff going on right now with the protest and with covid-19 etc but I say that shouldn't stop you to go visit your grandma.

This made the tears come rolling down 😭😭 I know what it’s like to lose and to miss someone who unfortunately passed from cancer. It’s never easy going through that especially when you’re young. Jojo did so good ♥️
This solo should have placed the technique wasn't the best but i still think JoJo did really well with what she was given. I have a feeling that placements at competitions like fierce national dance competition, center stage and a few others could be influenced by the producers because if you look them up on google there aren't any results for them so they could be fake🤐😬(with the exception of a fierce Facebook page which seems to have been abandoned since 31st december 2017)
