I havent done it yet but around 9 yrs ago, I stayed for more than a year in a South East Asia hotel but now my points are less since I already used up most of my points and I plan on emailing the manager (hopefully he is still there) and I will request breakfast for 4

When you ask for an upgrade, do you typically ask for a "complimentary upgrade" or do you just ask for an "upgrade." My fear is that there may be a misunderstanding and they upgrade your room for a fee.
I can clarify that the wording is complimentary or free. There are times that if I dont specify, it has been a fee to upgrade or they give me a bigger room , not a suite( happened in Italy)
