Oh yeah, those would come in handy while using the quick jacks! That I can just sit the car down and not have to go through the task of having to time where to stop the jacks to torque the wheels before they hit having the complete weight of the car down. And I’m digging the red truck on your bench from the 1st fast and furious!

Thanks bro! That’s what I’m saying, it gives you roughly the right amount of torque for you to be able to drop the car, then finish off with a torque wrench. I wouldn’t just use these on their own without confirming with a torque wrench but it’s better than just guessing with an impact gun on its own.

So you know, those torque sticks absolutely do not work with battery impact wrenches. They were designed to work only with air impact guns. Here is why.

Very good to know! This is why I was careful with the sticks and instead of continuously driving it, I did it in bursts. They’ll come in handy for what I need them for in my garage and IMO they’re a bit better than using the impact on its own. Will always finish off with a torque wrench.

@@ronfromportland good idea. What I always do with my impact wrench (DeWalt dcf891) when re-tightening is put it on mode one and stop as soon as it starts impacting. Seems to work and gets it around the ballpark of 80ftlb, then I'll tighten up to spec of 100ftlb.

@@ronfromportland it's an absolute beast to say the least. Haven't come across anything yet that it hasn't been able to take off. You'd almost think it was a high torque and not a mid torque. But if you want to make sure you do have the absolute best, just go full send and get the dcf900
