As a Cambodian, I am grateful for your random interviews to witness the reality of Cambodia, which was generally misunderstood. The interviews will surely pave ways to attract more tourists to come and reclaim the positive images of Cambodia. I have no objections that Cambodia is not 100% safe for all, not only the visitors, so do the other countries. This is a fact, but some people have held a negative view reported by some extremists
I will visit Cambodia someday and I know that I will love it. 😍 The more I hear negative things about a place the more I want to find the positive things about it. 😃
Haha I’m sure too! Man, I really try to show you how Cambodia is via a series of videos. The only way to really feel it is to come over some day 😃 come on over 🏆enjoy your weekend
Hey hey hey Chai my man! Very very thoughtful of you to plug our restaurant BAR ANG. Dude, but most importantly thank you for your time and effort to help dispel any negative thoughts especially from those that have never even been here. We all come here and some, like myself stay, because of the people and they most certainly deserve a chance at a much better life thanks to tourism and it's trickle down effect. Good style bro. Dam you Dutch are cool. So worldly and easy going from all that we've meet at our restaurant. Thank you so much Chai and I hope our paths will cross again soon. Warmest regards from Anut and John.
Haha I can hear your voice while reading this 😆 thanks champ! I love love your energy. Hopefully some people come and check your restaurant out :) you’re the man! Cheers!
After 2 years in the Philippines 🇵🇭 I just now came to Cambodia for 2 weeks. Siem Reap is a really nice place. I don’t mind the touristy places so much because they also tend to be very walkable. Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples are a bucket list trip. How ever I went to see Koh Ker Temple in the north and I think it was so much better than the Angkor Wat. Less crowded and more local people. Lyong Yong Transportation is a local driver and was awesome. A cooler full of cold water and cool towels to help with the heat. Koh Ker is a pyramid very similar to the Mayan Pyramids in the west. The Khmer people are very friendly. The food is awesome and the country is very cost effective for vacations or longer stays. I could easily live here. Overall safety is good. Just do the normal things. Keep your cross body bag close. Keep your eyes open. Keep your things secure. Safe travels 🙏🏻
I been there last year, in Phnom Penh people start to use Khmer riel and transfer money by Qcode very fast. Taxi or passapp call by app very fast and cheap than tuk tuk. I been to Koh rong and Rong somleom as you known it beautiful. Hope you can go back one day.

thanks, chai, for interviewing amazing people. I often follow what tourist think after they've been to Cambodia and 99.9% of them have a very true positive point of view about Cambodian people are very amazing and the lady you interview, she right about her advice just let your mind go, as I always think just empty your mind and your spirit will rise high above the noise of the world❤
Luv hearing different thoughts & seeing a different part of Cambodia - great to see some expats there living the travel dream 🤩 - Nice work Mr. Chai 👌👍🙏

I’m planning on moving to SE Asia later this year and I’m loving all your videos. I am thinking about teaching English in Cambodia 🇰🇭 And then the lovely older woman all in white dressed like an angel 👼🏻 said she wanted to stay and teach English. It was definitely a divine sign for me. 😊🙏🏽
Thanks, Chai. You get around, man! A new country every few videos. 🙂 I admit I have never hear of Battambang so it was interesting to hear about a new city in Cambodia. No surprise about how people feel about good safety. That seems so common in SE Asia compared to the USA. I knew Cambodia used US currency but I didn't know that English was so widely spoken from what one of your guests said. So you are now an educational channel, 555.

I've lived in Cambodia for about 20 years and your video is pretty accurate about the country. I think the best part is the people too. I didn't hear that much about Sihanouk ville, which use to be the best place years ago to visit, but now it's meh. And most tourists prefer Kampot now, but if you're in Sihanouk ville go to Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem Islands. ❤
Battambang is my homeland… the rice fields there can feed the whole country, it’s a beautiful place. There are so many places to discover and visit and learn about at Battambang, it have their own special food that cannot be found anywhere in Cambodia.
@@Chai_Travel yeah, this year Cambodia is extremely hot because the corrupt government keep on cutting the forests and destroying the mountains for money. So now the people is suffering from the extreme hot climate that Khmer people never experienced before. I feel sorry for poor people in my country because they don’t have aircon to keep them cool 😔

You did a great video again Mr. Chai 😊🙏 wish you all the best and enjoy every country you go. And the heat in Cambodia this season in very very hot. Around 1-2pm every Cambodian house turn into lava 😂

To all the tourists out there in the world, please do not listen/believe to the unreasonable negative comments and feedbacks about Cambodia when you haven't been in Cambodia even once.
