This 76-year-old grandma is, without any doubt, one of the most fascinating mysterious conditions that we have ever seen. Intrigued? Watch until the end!
Amina was born in 1944 in a remote village in Rwanda where she has spent all her life. It is amazing to see that, what seems to be a really debilitating condition, did not prevent her from living a long life though not an easy one. She reports that people always made her feel different and that they often were scared of her. Surprisingly, as she says, she got married at age 30 with a man who was sent from paradise for her. They lived happy for a while and had 2 children before separating.
Amina lives in deep poverty and suffers from high blood pressure. She reports that, at times, she goes for several days without eating. She relies on the kindness and generosity of the village and her deep faith in religion.
Being born without a nose, unable to see and having hearing difficulties, Amina was never able to put a name on her mysterious, probably genetic, condition because she was never properly diagnosed. Throughout her life, she suffered from multiple tumors on her face that doctors were able to remove.
Despite all that, Amina is a kind soul and she even helped raise Abdurahman who considers her as his mom.
