Glad to know you have another test finished. I will be glad when everything is finished for you. You are looking great - not like a sick person. Part of the reason I have watched your progress is because I have a non cancerous adenoma that they keep removing ( but keeps growing back). Doctor said if we did surgery to cut out that part of my colon I would have to have a stoma for 6 months and then another surgery to reconnect. Our bodies sure can cause us trouble. I am 73 and not too eager for surgery.
Love that your so yourself! I thank God that you are doing much better! 😊🙏🏼❤️ thank you for sharing your story with us and how honest and up front you are I love that!
Sounds like you are ready now. I'm glad the approval means you can be scheduled. Hopefully much information shared with you over the process. Be patient with yourself.
From this Venessa to you tomorrow I just wanted you and say thank you for getting your story out there. I’m 28 and got diagnosed with breast cancer last month. Nobody really understands how different that news have hits when you’re supposed to be in the prime of your life. And honestly more awareness needs to be brought to other cancers outside of the biggest few
Live it up gorgeous. You inspired me to get checked up & I just had surgery after they did find a large uterine mass. No cancer thankfully. Your strength & grace will continue to inspire me & others & I wish you continued healing & great health & happiness for you & your beautiful family. I did have that egd & colonoscopy done as well as my mom passed from colon cancer august 2020 & they did find that I have celiac disease so thank you for suggesting that. I’m 2 weeks post op from oncologist removing the mass & on the road to healing as well. I’m here as a friend should you ever need to chat. ❤️
Happy to see your getting closer to your surgery ! Teddy is so cute and your kids are adorable ! and you look beautiful as always ! God Bless You and Your Family
Vanessa, sending love to you. You truly are an inspiration and so strong. God doesn't send us more than we can handle. And you are definitely brave and strong, and he is with you through it all! ❤
Absolutely lovely video, your strength is incredible. What breed is Teddy hun, hes just adorable. You take care of yourself and stay safe. Lots of love from England ❤️🌹🎀 x
I'm confused when you say you're cancer free. I have colon cancer, and had to have 1/3 of my colon removed. Lynch Syndrome. The first question I asked my surgeon was am I cancer free? He told me that there is a 5 year rule. Not cancer free until 5 years from Dx. No cancer detected would be correct. All of us are in the same crappy boat. I have 4 years to go. Glad to see your feeling better. I've been following you for a while.👍👍👍👍👍
With my ileostomy take down, it was a open wound and I didn’t know it would be. They pack it in surgery and when they took the packing out I only had to keep a big gauze on it. I had my ileostomy bag for 10 months and I had mucus come out through my bum. I got control in about a week but I had my bag longer than you. I was in diapers in the hospital and cried thinking I would always be and my PA talked with me and assured me I would get control. I lost a third of my colon. Soon it will be all over for you. My take down was August 19th 2018. Prayers for you!
I'm so happy you are doing great! Vanessa You have an awesome aunt she does great cleaning 🙂God bless u both. Stay healthy and enjoy life to the fullest.😘⚘
Congratulations!! Also, a thought: have you been tested for Lynch Syndrome or other genetic cancer syndromes? For one, good to know so know what to look for and monitor if can affect other areas of the body so could catch anything super early, for two, it's of course good to know for early detection for your kids...so they can of course have as healthy lives as possible! I know you mentioned your mom had cancer also (so sorry). I have chronic health issues (a few interconnected conditions) that run in my family. So thought of this. And b/c I went to a geneticist at Community/UCSF partnership and my geneticist is soo nice. Highly recc. Her initials for first & last name are D.S. There's only 2 there now and she's 1 of em...she travels and comes a few days a mo.
Love seeing you and the family so happy🥳🥳🥰 I had mine reversed right before Christmas. The reversal was my easiest surgery. I recovered really fast nut everyone is different. I hope your experience was as good as mine. Love and Blessings your CRC sister💙💙💙💙
So happy for u , cos I know how u feel , in the same boat … had the gastrointestinal edema, X-ray showed no holes \ no leaks… but my surgeon is still wanting me to a CT SCAN. Smh I had a rectal resection, which split open, the surgeon left the hole in my rectum to close up on its own, I have had the ileostomy for 8 months , I still feel some discomfort and mild pain when I sit for long… ugh I hope I can get my reversal pretty soon! God knows I’ve tried . My question is did u have part of ur rectum removed ? If so do u feel some discomfort when u sit for long? Thank you for answers.
Vanessa your glasses are pretty and look great on you. Would you please share the brand and ordering info? I am desperate for new glasses...actually I'm embarrassed to reveal how long it's been since I ordered new glasses. I appreciate anything you can share.
Im seeing your getting a jpoach i think? Unfortunately for me a bag & now jpoachn..both gaved me complications ..mentally ..i guess i took opiods alot & unknow soooo much they give u ??? A question i ask everyine. R u on antidepressants???? Or pain killers .......i think everyone is different mentally ...ive had chrones for 20 years. ..im lately having alot of brain issues & sideaffects ...not making me act as normal ...but u just got diagnpsed ....im prayiing your jpurneyyy is better ....u look like u still drive ?? I stopped alot of my actual livinggg activites fatiguuuue
