DEAR CRISTINE, I LOVED YOUR BOTH THE PRESENTATIONS ON BARIUM ENEMA AND VCUG. I AM DR BALAJI ANVEKAR NEURORADIOLOGIST PREPARING FOR FRCR. YOUR VIDEO HELPING ME A LOT. WAITING FOR MORE SUCH VIDEOS ON RADIOLOGICAL PROCEDURES.
That was the strangest barium enema exam I ever saw what is the patient doing where in his underwear and t-shirt underneath the gown? How come the volume of the end of a bag never went down started with the same amount of barium ended up in the same amount of barium?
Yall need to get past your sexist views --- we are professionals no matter who does your exam - but whether male or female - it is necessary that there be two people present because of the nature of the exam so that there is a witness that the patient was cared for with the upmost respect and care...with total professionalism.
@@Kimmy1621 I assume you are female. So you would not have any problem with two Male Technicians administering an Barium Enema to you? No problem with a man inserting the tip? Most techs are female and most BE's are performed on Male Patients by females so reversing that is OK with you??
This is hands down one of the best presentations I have seen on RUclips. It was so informative and well delivered.
Superb presentation, God bless you. Very educational and precise

Excellent video! Thank you
this patient can't be having this done 4 real , cause he'd be screaming
Not necessarily. Every person is different. Some people handle this differently.
I had one today and I screamed a lot . Almost cried .
@@7SierraTango1 have you ever had this procedure done ? Yes , if this person was really having it done he'd be screaming . This is very painful .
@@Johanna8able is it painful??😢
@@kristineb.1458 Yes its very painful , atleast it was for me ..
Great video looks like the bag holds at least two liters of barium
If this is painful, no pain meds on board?
hi can u tell me the exact film position for cecum
Thanks for uploading this video
If the enema like icey , it will hurt, kill, ouch, and super hurt water

.
I’m having mine done Fri this makes me want to back out. I’m on oxygen so will be twice as hard
Under going this but am so scared
Well I hope you ask for the same gender Dr. Not like this fake video of a female doing this procedure on a male, which would never happen
FASCINATING!
Had mine yesterday I wanted to die😩
ehem!
Are you a doctor? If not you should have a male for a male patient. Otherwise this is very disrespectful of the patient.
S J Some male patients prefer females to assist with the exam. It all just depends on the patient. But I am pretty sure the woman is the doctor.
Crystal Latsyrc Most men I know prefer male for any procedure where they are exposed. But, men have been expected to keep their mouths shut about it.
Doctors don't do barium enemas, radiology techs do...and you get the tech who is working that day.

The medical profession does not care ! Speak up and demand same gender care or walk out . That’s what I do
