Padres barely beat a battered Braves team. 1-0 and 5-4. Braves had to play a double header then travel cross country. Strange infield singles for the Padres and Musgrave had elbow tightened and the relievers didn’t do well in Game 2. Padres had to win or get things started from their No 9 hitter Higashioka. The Dodgers are a much fresher team. Well rested. Just Freeman has his ankle injury. Padres lost 2 of 3 to the Dodgers in the last series.
Playoffs baseball is tough! Atlanta was injured but played well enough to make things interesting. They would have made any team nervous. Just as SD makes LA nervous, lets see what happens. All the past BS is out the window. Dodgers have home field advantage and the Padres are ready!
