+emmallanos Just because it happen a long time ago doesn't mean it should lose its importance to something that happen more recently. Granted you might not have been there so it is harder to understand how big something really was, none of us were around for World War I but that doesn't mean you can't understand how destructive it was from reading about it. Same goes for Bette Davis vs Joan Crawford if just read the quotes these two said about each other it makes alot of what other celebrities, who are on this list, said about each other to shame.
MikeMJPMUNCH I knew you were going to mention some major historical event. No, no, none of us were there for WWI. On that note, none of us were in Sarajevo, on June 28, 1914 when Princip shot the Archduke of Austria and his wife. However, we know about the event because, in most countries. is probably a High School standard (mandatory to learn about history). We are talking about celebrities. They are like shooting stars: they might seem important, but they are just debrises of a time. Even historically recognizable and world read writers, such as Hemingway and Faulkner had famous, long and well known feud. Yet, many people do not know about it.
+emmallanos It is meant as an example ok might not be the best example because I will agree with you about historical event vs celebrity events one is more important to learn about than the other but in the context of this list when you research into the greatest celebrity feuds Bette Davis vs Joan Crawford always comes up. Any event needs coverage in order for it to be remembered and why something is covered more than the other can come down to things like media interest, who is involved, whoever wins in the end etc. With these two there is so much coverage, TV interviews, eye witness, documentaries etc, that you have a pretty good idea of how much these two didn't get along even if you weren't there.

Number 9 should not be on this list. They are not real celebrities and of course any married couple would feud over custody of their children.
