I wouldn’t say that, exactly. Having worked in the domestic abuse/ sexual assault field, too many women are disbelieved or are treated as if they were attacked because of something they did, or wore, or said. I think part of the problem lies with the mob mentality and groupthink. It’s much easier to agree with words that sound right than to actually think them through or thoroughly investigate whether or not they are. This is an age of instant gratification and if people have to wait too long or work too hard, they lose interest. Sensationalism has become bigger than honesty. I’m glad the truth came out in the end but he shouldn’t have had to lose so much before it did. I understand a lot of horrible people have gotten away with despicable acts for decades. This should not compel people to treat others as if they were guilty until proven innocent in order to distance themselves from the possibility that it could be true. This is a complex issue for several reasons, one being sexual abuse or physical abuse is very hard to prove. You stand the best chances if you go directly to the hospital but I have still seen abusers go free even with physical evidence. One woman had her face broken in two places and was swollen and split beyond anything most people have probably seen. Her abuser was ordered to surrender his guns and had a protection order for one year. No jail. She was taken to a shelter in another state without any personal belongings or even her own clothes for her protection. Women don’t leave everything they have behind if they are lying about who beat them almost to death or raped them. This woman should have been taken seriously enough to perform an investigation because enough women, children, and even men are not believed. But, he deserved the right to have his name exonerated from the results before so many people assumed his guilt. I guess if you are tearing down one person, the group isn’t focusing on you. At least he found out who his friends were.
@@ambivalentdisaster673 honestly, that's because the vast majority of the time in abusive relationships women are the victims and men are the perpetrators. It's only the minority of cases when the man is the victim, as is the case with Johnny Depp. Though to be quite honest some of that is due to toxic masculinity culture that doesn't tolerate the idea of a man being brutalized by a woman in a relationship, because of the perception that it makes a man "weaker". We need feminism so that more men who are victims of domestic abuse can feel brave enough to come out about being victims and the culture as a whole can believe them all, Depp included.
I'd love to have heard what she really thought of john clesse he definitely poked her buttons, I suspect she is very capable of good old fashioned southern style ass kicking given the right provocation! Lmao love them both!

Never judge a book by its cover; although in the case of Johnny Depp I’d make an exception, he looks like an arsehole and acts like an arsehole so you can be sure he’s an arsehole.
Richo303 just because she ‘accidently’ lost his mascara brush or his nail polish doesn’t make her an abusive partner. Courts in the US also judged that OJ Simpson didn’t kill his parter.

Graham always handles any potential 'tricky' moments on his show, with his usual quick-wittedness and off- hand humour. Putting the shallow luvvies on the spot and allowing themselves to look like the cupid stunts that most of them are, makes for good telly.
Note: if RUclips channels like this are going to use other people’s content for views, at least show the clip in question, then narrate. Narrating on top of the clip as we are watching is distracting and annoying. I’m not 5 years old to which I need everything explained as I go.
@Theinterimbeast87....you have to be supernaturally born again and walking with Jesus daily to avoid hell at death as He tells and enter heaven. Jesus only sends the Holy Spirit to enter the heart and body of the true repentant sinner (one who is sorry for their sins from the heart and tells Jesus so, and makes the decision to turn to Him). Do not turn to religions though (they are man made)....only to Jesus. We are the final generation now to His return. You have to walk with Him and His Word daily (the christian bible). He saved me decades ago. A lot happens when you get saved/born again of the Spirit but you have to be sincere or nothing can happen and you cannot enter heaven. Here is Jesus warning that you can only go to heaven if born again: Jesus replied, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again...'[John 3 verse 3]...........christian bible. Anyone can die any day, age or hour. It is vital to turn to the Lord. Millions are in hell who left it too late even good and kind people, but they were rebellious and refused to admit they were sinners.
The whole Johnny Depp thing still pisses me off. And no I’m not talking about him being abusive I’m talking about the fact that he was just accused of it and people demonized him.
@@ladyi7609 I got the distinct impression that both Depp and Heard were equally to blame, and human garbage.
You missed out the Carrie Fisher story about how a guy thought about her as Princess Leia every day...... well 4 times a day haha XD
The only thing awkward about this video is THIS video.
The John Cleese/Taylor Swift episode was hilarious. She gave as good as she got.
She's fucking dumb 😂
I'd love to have heard what she really thought of john clesse he definitely poked her buttons, I suspect she is very capable of good old fashioned southern style ass kicking given the right provocation! Lmao love them both!
@@larapalma3744 and you have one...so what!!
Cleese was a bit bitter about women at that time as he ex wife fleeced him lol
That "don't wanna do that " comment by Taylor was measured, with an inflection, that's quick thought out humour, I believe she's clever, not dumb or boring, but that's only Moi's humble opinion.🤗
Addendum, her face had a mischievous look and smile , after she said the line.
Talk about johnny depp being abusive, hows it feel that he proved it was actually her abusing him!!!
Never judge a book by its cover; although in the case of Johnny Depp I’d make an exception, he looks like an arsehole and acts like an arsehole so you can be sure he’s an arsehole.
But not guilty of abusing his partner
Richo303 just because she ‘accidently’ lost his mascara brush or his nail polish doesn’t make her an abusive partner.
Courts in the US also judged that OJ Simpson didn’t kill his parter.
@@jixuscrixus1967 No, she's an abusive partner. There were photos of him with bruises on his eye from her
Anisa Wornum: Those weren’t bruises, he’d just had a hissy fit and his tears smudged his eye make-up...
See how quick you were to judge Depp.
Miriam wasn't uncomfortable to watch at all! Very entertaining!
Sinead is pronounced with a “Shin-aide”. Still one of the greatest singing voices of the 80’s 90’s
That Mark Wahlberg interview was one of the only times I`ve ever enjoyed watching him on screen.
It’s been years and WatchMojo still hasn’t found anyone who can say words correctly
I can't believe you pronounced Sinéad O'Connor's name like that.
What a douche, who on this planet doesn't know how to pronounce her name...I'm guessing he's a millennial 🤣🤣
For shame - I mean even Americans don't seem to get it wrong.
When your job is doing video narration, maybe fucking learn how to pronounce the celebrities name. Its a constant thing with Irish names. Harry Potter 4 was an annoying culprit. When calling out the irish team named they fucked up a few and that's from our country neighbours
I know, right ? Current guess is some person in Malaysia trying to fake a british accent, badly.
@@dtzjones2222 What can I say? I guess my spelling is as bad as your grammar. They certainly should be able to pronounce her name though...even if they were illiterate.
hey thanks 4 the upload. we here over the pond really need belly laughs considering we have 2 put up with the Toddler in Chief
This is just the Graham Norton Show, nothing awkward about it, it's refreshing to see the boundaries being stretched and the honesty of the guests is pure gold.
Excuse me, Sir! Miriam Margolyes is a freakin' treasure. I demand you take that back.
Whoppie is crude. Not funny.
This channel never fails to disappoint. Anytime i want to see a video full of bullshit they are here to serve up some.
*The narration and editing deserves an Oscar,* keeping the viewers perched, while the mundane entertainers with their scripted stage shtick, probably lacked roaring excitement during the other 99 percent of these interviews.
Not a huge Depp fan, but there's enough factual and legal hindsight out there to exonerate Depp of any wrongdoing.
This list should be called "10 random Graham Norton episodes"
None of these are awkward. This is Graham Norton. Anything goes.
I've never seen a pair of brothers hate each other so much. I'm shocked beyond the reality that these two even worked together for one rehearsal ever in their entire lives. I'm surprised neither one has attempted murder on the other. You know, there's sibling rivalry and then there's the Gallaghers.
Hi Hi oh my I really like Graham Norton, I never miss his episodes! He is a really witty person..thank you for sharing...
yes feel ok watching it and graham norton actually has a right to have a laugh 😁
Quiet the opposite - Just part of our Celeb Obsessed Society.
he is a piece of shit and if you like turds keep it to yourself he should show respect for celebs who obviously get paid more than he'll ever see
@@deanshaw6588 get yourself a sense of humour, as for turds they are pretty comfortable with their riches, lucky buggers.
Johnny D, is a loveable hippy type, not a woman beater, (and no, I don't know him personally,) but I am a good judge of character, and I study Psychology.
Don't worry John, we're on to HER.
When I grow up I want to be Miriam Margolyes
Nah, that hair would be a bloody nightmare
Here here
Amen
Gerard Collins - *hear hear
She is a legend
“WHY WOULD YOU WEAR MAKEUP TO THE GYM?!?!” boom 😂
Imagine Jessica Biel's terror when sitting next to Mickey Rourke.
He only touched her hand.
The whole Richard Gere interview was creepy as hell. You could see Siorse Ronan edging away. Felt for her, she looked acutely uncomfortable.
Miriam Margolyes is not the celebrity equivalent of Marmite. She's naughty, yes, but lovely and talented. If you've seen her perform onstage as Mr Bumble, you know she's a wizard.
Lmao as an Irish person the way he pronounced Sinead O Connor made me cringe lol
I cringed more with the narrator's American narrator intonation.
Pamela Helen Stephenson, Lady Connolly (born 4 December 1949), is a New Zealand-born psychologist, writer, and performer who is now a resident in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
Graham always handles any potential 'tricky' moments on his show, with his usual quick-wittedness and off- hand humour.
Putting the shallow luvvies on the spot and allowing themselves to look like the cupid stunts that most of them are, makes for good telly.
Nothing compares, nothing compares to the way you pronounce Sinead
Note: if RUclips channels like this are going to use other people’s content for views, at least show the clip in question, then narrate. Narrating on top of the clip as we are watching is distracting and annoying. I’m not 5 years old to which I need everything explained as I go.
If there’s ever an awkward interview w Graham I can tell you it isn’t his fault😂
Miriam isn’t awkward she’s brilliant and hilarious
Absolutely!!!!
@Theinterimbeast87....to the lost she would be. She is hell bound literally. However so is everyone who is not saved/born again of the Spirit.
Genie Meadows da fuck you talking about?
She makes me throw up in my mouth
"Creme in my nickers" The face of Matthew Perry 😂
Person who made this really doesn’t understand British humour or sarcasm! Do your research before trying to get views on rubbish!
or pronunciation, apparently. ug !
No way, Mikey Rourke was aweful 🤮
nice Cara Delevigne-reference right there! ;)
Sin-aid? Have you been living under a rock since the 80s that you can't pronounce Sinead correctly?
Oh... You can pronounce every single word in the English language perfectly? Or you're just a sad person?
@@dfoster2513 or maybe you get angry at someone pointing out it's pronounced "shin-aid".
Skinhead o'connor
Shih nade. Easy
She's not famous. Why would anyone know it's Shin aid ?
Maybe I just don't have the same level of discomfort. Nothing discomfortable here; just role playing or human nature on display.
And now those people are wishing they had kept their keyboards to themself, right Johnny?
Depp was actually the victim in that situation. Yet no one talks about it. Funny that.
The Vault: Film & Games Reviews *Double Standards*
It’s so sad for him, that bitch ruined his life
Miriam is a treasure, just for saying exactly how she feels , no holds barred. She is just very different.
This didnt age well with johnny depp
Jonny had NOT BEEN PROVED to be abusive. So that was not fair.
I'm adding this to my Top 10 Forced WatchMojo Top 10 Lists
This is just the way the show is. Awesome !
The whole Johnny Depp thing still pisses me off. And no I’m not talking about him being abusive I’m talking about the fact that he was just accused of it and people demonized him. Can we knock this shit off please. He was in a relationship for over a decade with somebody who said that he never laid a hand on her and all of a sudden he’s an abusive man give me a fucking break.
Miriams interview was the best
Sorry, Miriam's antics are simply fantastic. The Laurence Olivier story was absolutely hilarious. I pray to god I will be an old lady like her. She's simply awesome
Mickey was just being Mickey lol
I’m English, I don’t find any of this uncomfortable!
I'm Dutch and didn't think it was uncomfortable either, funny YES!
If you don't find any of it uncomfortable, you're one of these people who make others feel uncomfortable
@@TheUntrainedNinja No. He is fine. However you wouldnt know humour if it came and slapped you in the face.
@@acronyx991 Oh yeah? What makes you say that? The guests were CLEARLY uncomfortable.
@@TheUntrainedNinja You say that from 3 second of clips. Have you seen the full episodes? No? I didnt think so. The Miriam Margoyles episodes are some of the best episodes in Graham Norton, EVERY guest loved her, Will i am was hugging her the whole time when sitting by her by the end of it and they became good friends. Thats just ONE of the scenes. The majority of them have all the context taken out and the reactions afterwards taken out aswell.
Your sneering implication of Depp's 'guilt' because a woman accused him, gives me a disturbed foreboding. I hope your generation are much brighter than whoever is responsible for this opinion piece, and preserve the hard won legal haven of 'innocent till proven guilty'.
LOL if you want to see a really awkward interview I suggest you acquaint yourself with and Michael Parkinson interview with Meg Ryan. That's the classic all time awkward interview. This collection is just celebs trying to deal with stage fright or just trying to hog the limelight.
I went to a well known night club and asked the bar man who was the worst patron he ever encountered. Noel Gallagher by far, Gallagher was upset with his girlfriend, she decided to leave and he threw a billiard ball at her. He pointed to the hole in the wall. Nice bloke.
