There already a king and it's the Barbarian king that's why supercell won't add it just like how the original Royal Champion name was Valkyrie Queen but change it to Royal Champion since we have the Archer Queen as the Queen

I guess the Lightning Spell in the early days giving 6 blows of lightning bolts(like the Electro Dragon does when it's defeated) deserves a spot in the Memory Lane.

It was probably removed because then you couldn't see what buildings they had.
Me too. You knew they hadn’t seen their base of the rubble was still there.
Back then th7 had only 2 air defenses. 10 dragons and 3 lightning spells was the best army for th7, because you theoretically had to deal with only one air defense. Later on Supercell made it so you get the 3rd air defense on th7 instead of on th8.

Another thing they changed over time is the destroyed Th10 optic. I mean it was only 2 or 3 years ago but before the change if someone destroyed a TH10, there was still the Lava below the ground. Now if you destroy Th10 it looks like destroying every other TH level
Its been YEARS since i played CoC before one of your vids poped up on my recomended. It has gotten me HOOKED on the game and i am still getting waves of nostalgia... Thank you man❤

Don’t know if it was already mentioned but when the loot cart could spawn anywhere on the map instead of now where it has a defined place (I have pictures if needed)
I don't think many people remember this, but you could visually place your buildings in the water. For people with a slow connection, after the village initially loaded, there would be a time when the game would still buffer, and you could place the buildings in the water. I think there are probably a few videos of it as well.

6:03 I don’t use the train button much, I almost always search for my barracks, spell factories, or siege workshop. And when I say search, whenever I design a base, I make sure I put my barracks at the bottom.
(Before the barracks update, I just made sure one of my four barracks was at the bottom.)

Ah I remember playing this on the very first day and having it downloaded before it downloaded. Those were the simple days in this game.
I think you can save the wizards now (in the beginning of the game), I remember keeping some of them after the tutorial :)

Don’t forget they increased the edge of the base where you cannot place obstacles too, it used to only be Able to fit 2 wide and now it got increased to 3 wide

This game is my childhood and i still play it. Im almost maxed out. Just need the walls (1 lvl)
For the extra battle time entry, never forget it was originally clan wars that had longer time before that (reasoning was for more tactical attacks, this was then moved to normal attacks, then removed entirely

Remember to gain elixir how you would train whichever troop was being upgraded just before the upgrade finished to untrain them to gain the difference in price. Like train mass giants right before the upgrade finished then untrain and gain 1000's more elixir.

The wizard glitch didn't work for me I was able to keep the wizards to use later
just started a new account a few days ago, you can definitely keep the tutorial wizards after you've defeated the first goblin's base. you can only keep two of em though.
The reason they added the extra walls was because at th 11 there was too many buildings and they expanded the home base so you can fit everything in well, so they added more walls so you can fit the bigger base a little better.
1:13 i can't forget that period from 2014-2017 the best years of my life as coc and CR came in my life I have been playing coc since it's release but in 2014 i got my own device so it's kind of peak of my whole miserable life havoc it's not blur for me but crystal clear sweet memories After that life flipped and shit happened it became boring and miserable i really want to relive those moments in a loop which i kind of do sometimes in dreams

I think barch was so popular because the training time was low compared to all the other troops
less time maybe 20%.. remaining 80% because they are cheap,. low costs = more profit = faster stock full

I remember clan wars years ago, you can see the opponents war base layout during preparation day. So some players use different or troll layouts during preparation day to fool the enemy clan. Today you see the enemy's home village layout in war during preparation day (lucky if helshe has the same war layout)
Also another small thing in clan war, before war is exactly 2days (48hours) but SC reduced it by 1hour. Now it's 23hours preparation day and 24hours war day.
I remember, our whole clan put troll bases on for preparation day and we all came back online like 5 mins before battle day started to change our layouts💀

6:00 I was actually so used to clicking on the barracks I still most of the time click on barracks to train.
ive have played coc for 2 years and i didnt even know there was train army button in ur screen, ive always clicked barack to train my troops
Being able to attack an attacked war base (not 3-starred yet) where last attacker left off.
I remember that back in first two days of Clan Wars when it was introduced in 2014.
Someone failed to 3-star a base, say, 64% 2-star, you could start your attack on that same base at those exact destruction % & stars and just clean up.
I don't know if you talked about it, but in the past, the heroes used to chase down the troops even if they weren't in the hero's protecting range
Honestly im still train troops via the Barracks, didnt even know that there is a button to train troops xD
For the healers not triggering traps originally it was only for dark air mines. Giant healer was really good at lower town halls during that time (without using heal spells)

remember barracks having limits of training troops and when barracks were in upgrades we had to wait for few to be trained first and than add the remaining troops to be trained.
man i really wish i could go back to playing these versions. I wanna have different barracks again and the 2 housing lightning spell.
Does anyone remember during the winter event back then, there was a time you can make a Santa spell? Also, archer death sounds are different from today.
Edit: I also remember you used to queue training when you were searching for battle since training time took forever.
Edit 2: Hero's abilities did not automatically activate when the hero was about to die. Heroes used to die before they could use their ability

I wanna see the changes and remodels that occured with the air defenses through out the years.
I could be remembering this completely incorrectly but seeing as it would've been over 10 years ago, I really can't be sure. I (think?) traps used to not even have a rearm button, and after a trap went off, you'd literally have to go back into the store to rebuy the trap and then put them back to where they should be. So ofc not only were these traps not upgradable, a trap was like single use and would need to be bought again every single time. It was a massive hassle and I think most people just didn't even buy traps because of it. Especially things like default bombs which did nothing at high level, and low level players didn't want to spend resources on something that would literally delete overnight. It was also obnoxious as hell to need to remember ur specific trap layouts and seeing as war wasn't a thing, there were no stakes at all.

8:13 I missed this, me and my friend literally used to call his dad and tell him that his base got attacked, i was in 6th grade at that time. i think it was 2014/15/16
I remember when leagues used to start with 1 and not 3. Because I wasn't very old, so I didn't read the updates notes and so on, I just one day noticed that it now started with 3 and not 1. I was so confused because I swore it had always been the other way around, but I concluded I was just tripping. Well this video is now proof I wasn't tripping
I feel like it was just yesterday damn back in that day elixir was so important. Dark elixir was for rich people and having dark elixir troop in attack was like having god in your side, Higher were only used in clan wars because they were so expensive. Wow so much had change
I wish they would release a skin which is the OG warden design. The new one is definitely an upgrade, but it would be a cool throwback.
Somethings that has changed is that there was a really popular mod name that i wont mention lol, that lets u see traps, keeps ur state as "active" even when u close the app, look at cc in wars and even let u do "sandboxes attacks" which basically were test attacks on real bases on war

The valk glitch is one that I don't thinks been covered? Where you could line a load of valks up with an archer in front, delete them after training and get full amount of dark elixir. Back.iirc.

this was a classic through back to the old days
i remember when a troop destroys a building in builder base the lighting would go away (you can watch judo sloth's first builder base video to see this)
You can still save the wizards from the tutorial they just don’t appear in your army camps but you still use them for other goblin map levels
The old villager lady model and when you had to wait for your king and queen to regenerate after after battles. That was annoying cuz the new army that was trained would come out and you’d have to wait for your hero’s to regenerate.
Been playing since oct 2013 iso solo for like maybe a month then joined a friends clan been there ever since…. 🤜🏼🤛🏻
Prior to the addition of the shovel, you had to make your village as large as possible and spaced properly to save seasonal/holiday items outside of the buildable area. And of course if you were a part of Peter17$AWESOME trying to get the gem box to spawn in the center of your base and then building the base around it... my base is still like this, lol

The thing about the league stuff relates to the real life. for example: the german top flight in footbal is called the first bundesliga, the league below is the second bundesliga. its how you rank stuff

I just ignored game for 2 years becoz of queen upgrade took too much of dark elixir
I completely forgot about the train button, I just look for the army camp now
Everyone seem to forget that Upgrade from Th9 to Th10 took about 12 days as I remember 😅.
I remembered the good old times without the builder hall just the home village and the times that the lightning spell did many lightning strikes and the times you can save wizards when you were at th 1 or 2.
In the past when we have 3.5 minutes, I remember I don’t get 99% anymore in every attack using dragon in Th7 n 8 hahah
2013-2016 I used only archers and goblins to farm bcs of elixir costs crazy times.
actually rearming the traps was one by one manually, you had to find and rearm every trap one by one, that " rearm all" feature got added later on.
Im still looking for the barracks to train my army, I’ve never use that training button 😅

At the end of any attack, you would see the shadow of the Archer and the Wizard, I don't know about you, but, it was a nice thing to see lol
