@larppaxyz ah! Amazing! I've managed to open up the service menu now, but still can't fugure out how to sort out the problem, tried a bunch of things but none of it has worked yet. I'll keep on trying stuff. Thanks so much for your advice!
@larppaxyz Well, I completely disassembled this projector including the 3 LCD's... When I reassembled the projector, it is nearly impossible to place the 3LCD's on the exact same place. Therefor, there is a convergence problem. If I move the small LCD just 1mm, the projected picture moves over a few centimeters! I think i will need a microscope to fix my problem :(
@larppaxyz hi, i have the same problem with a hitachi ED-X3280 projector, unfortunately i dont have a remote, do you know how to access the service menu and if you can fix this issues on all projectors or do I need to get a technician?

You don't suppose to remove the LCDs, they are adjusted from the factory. It is almost impossible to adjusted manually.
