I wonder how it manages to produce the actual 3D image from a technical perspective....this tech can perhaps be licensed to other companies that could take this concept further, scale it up for more professional use, maybe make it interactive similar to vr
@@Leonardo-ql1qu the packaging even says "3D stereo" as in stereoscopic 3D, ie 2 separate images with a slight parallax variation, one for each eye. Are you suggesting they and the reviewer lies?
@@DaP84 Hi Da, Absolutely fake! No parallax whatsoever: how could you possibly see two projected images - one for each eye - without some sort of light separating projection screen? If this was a real 3D-projector (which would have nothing to do with the noble art of 'holography') it would be a sensation as a new technology and would draw worldwide attention! This is nothing more than smoke and mirrors, but many people will be fooled. Incidentally, awful design (white plastic urn for ashes?) and messy logo!
@@Leonardo-ql1qu Hello Leo, I know it feels paradoxical. But they market it like that, which would be false advertising if not true. Wait, if altering parallax images with a high frequency, would that result in the illusion of seeing 3D?
I feel like this would've been 500% more useful if they simply added a SD cart slot on the projector to load your own files, even if they aren't 3d. I feel like this is something that would be cool for a few weeks and then just collect dust once you've tired out seeing every clip.
I asked the company this and apparently the videos are made / processed in a certain way to work with this projector. Its not the same as standard 3d content, so if you tried to use your own videos, it wouldn't really project it the same. With all the feedback, they did say they will be looking into adding apps and other features in a future 2.0 version.
Agreed. I read Eric's/Company's reply but my response is to add an obvious disclaimer that personal videos and photos will not achieve the same results. And then provide info or a link to info that will help you produce *something* interesting, should you wish to do so. And/or, a store or affiliate with someone who might be able to provide additional clips to play. I think they could probably monetize a series of themed collections, if they could be provided online or via a micro-sd.
Those videos are actually so funny. I assume it looks 3d just because there's lasers behind it. Sometimes bright colors can look closer or farther away due to the optics of eyes
I spent a couple of years doing very high definition 3D Art that is to be viewed without glasses. Silver age comics mostly but girls too. 3dmacphee. There are still lots of ways to present it. Left and right eye images.
Hope they sell enough to get to the 2.0 version with user generated video, be it 3D or 2D. A missed opportunity for this version that will cost them sales, including mine.
@@EricReviews you know what I can't wait for when they implement this into the type of movies are like to watch. It would be just like having the action right there in front of you. Imagine if they could even update some of our old favorite movies. It would be a reason to re-watch a lot of those old classics. Be like we'd actually almost be there with the characters from the movies.
Now it needs a 3d camera attached so you can make holographic phone calls with another user. That’s about the only practical use I can see for this device.
We're at least 10-15 years out till anything like that is possible. Even then, I'm sure it'll cost more than any of us can afford when it does come out. Check out Google's "Project Starline". It does just that, but its a large booth with tons of cameras on each side so just a proof of concept so far.
Great concept but it seems like they missed the mark. Why make a 3d projector but not let people add their own 3d content? do you know how cool it would be to throw on a 3d movie and not have to worry about glasses? Twelvetooo..The people have spoken. We need a pro version with HDMI ports, Wifi, or at least a USB port to add external media!
I would buy one of these for my Nephew's room, but they don't have a physical product to sell, just another stupid "Kickstarter campaign" ??? So you risk giving them money and you are not "Guaranteed" anything, correct??? I see no one on Amazon or Ebay selling these where you were sure to get the product you paid for.
I think we know what Nintendo is going to be doing with their next console. They're going to make the granddaddy of them all. What do you think they should call it. Maybe the Nintendo 65 that would be cool. A follow-up to one of the most classic game systems of all time.
After the silly alarm clock, I'm not too sure, lol. The Switch 2 is coming up and while most consoles just upgrade performance, Nintendo is known to throw in some odd ball feature that may or may not work out. Hopefully the switch 2 isn't the Wii to Wii-U all over again. If they went back to regular consoles, a GameCube 2 would be awesome. or maybe the Super Duper Nintendo? lol
Was stung in the past with the saga model, of planetary and galaxy projectors. This one is much better, but will give it at least, another 10 years of T's and A's, before I come back to it.
Sorry but the hardware looks cheap and plastic. The image quality is impossible to assess in this review. It looks like it only displays 'demo' images. I would never allow this in my home.
Likely going to back this soon. Thanks for the review Eric!
Thanks for watching!
I'll wait for generation allowing to play external vids with conversion 2D to 3D.
It looks very limited to me as you're stuck with pre-loaded video clips - I honestly can't see much use for it.
It's a very tik tok shop bedroom decoration type of thing so people won't need much use
Sucks. What's the point if you cant connect sky box or fire stick. Room decor for kids room. 👎
yah ... on the plus side, you dont need to stressed up fiddle with the smart phone ... searching while the kid ... wait ... wait ... wait ...

Nothing 3D, just a projection. Everyone can do this with any cheap beamer, or better two!

So its basically one of those halloween projectors? or different somehow?

Seems a bit limited in functionality but cool none the less
Seems like a product that should let you project your own images and integrate with a regular projector to watch movies

I went to the link you posted but I can't figure out how much it cost because it's a Kickstarter
How much it is in USA.
Will it work for bikini hauls?
What price ?
How do you buy this, and how much is it. Pretty cool!
Can I add new videos with bluetooth later or stick with whats inside?
No, it only has the included selection and more cannot be added.

Well it would also be cool when youre stoned
Can we create our own content and upload to the projector?
Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that. It's just the built in clips
Cool! 😀

Thi tecnologies will be a milestone virtual reality without glasses
Add a fog machine or slight haze to the room. I dare yah. Film it. B

"Please state the nature of your medical emergency." !
Not quite there yet.
Good for low budget dark rides
If it was like 12.00 would be a good buy
Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi...You're my only hope.
Does this company make other stuff? Always iffy to back products from new companies
Can't connect anything to it. What's the point. Tik tok shop vib.
If it can't play movies there's not much used to it.
But you can't project your own images😂?

What for? Neat. But I'm bored after a bit.
its gonna be over-priced for its limited features, which are none
20 bucks Temu
This is not 3d at looks fake
MUSTSAY RUBBISH!!!!!!!!
This explains why u.f.o's don't produce a sonic boom, if this tech is available to the public just imagine what d.a.r.p.a has.
