its amazing how the multiplayer livestream graphics gameplay looked exactly the same as the trailer footage to my eyes

Being an original BF fan, I can't tell how I feel about this game. Half the people who are hyping this game beyond belief are people who started playing BF4, but as an original BF player I can't really see how I feel about this game yet.
Bad Company 2 was my first BF game. I miss the map destruction.
I started on Bad Company 2 and BF3 and gotta say the definitely ramped up the destruction and have made mode advancements to make a realistic arcade shooter
Im in the same boat, played bf mostly in the bf1942 and bf2 era. Im not sure if this is what i hope for or not.
Being a Battlefield 2 Vet. I miss the dedication you use to put into the game... ranking up use to feel like an achievement or a milestone. Now it feels like I can get colonel within a month.

does anyone else see the last bit with the horses and train as it's own gamemode? I guess kinda like rush, the guys on horses are the attackers and are responsible for putting explosives on the train before getting back on a horse before that cart explodes, the people on the train are responsible for draining the enemies tickets, keeping them off the train and disarming explosives. Just a guess

Well, they're right. CoD is about to die and its fanbase is finally starting to realize that it's the same game every year and there are way better games out there.
Captain Halo This happens with every Battlefield reveal against CoD, but people or BF community were creative back then against the CoD hate. But all of those hate we're seeing, still CoD will sell more than BF, and CoD fan base will not like it, since BF is so different than CoD in terms of gameplay and community.

the game takes place in an alternate universe. it sticks to historically accurate gear and visuals just not as much with gameplay
to be fair, modern combat isnt waged anything like what BF3 or 4 depict. usually, squads never even see the faces of their enemies.
This gameplay makes forget about the old COD games.

+Imoh Essien Not necessarily Hardline. I picked that one up and felt so-so with that. It's just I was really excited for Battlefield 4 and it had its issues upon launch. It was fun but not without it's noticeable hiccups. It's just Deja's Vu for me with Battlefield 1. I'm excited but hoping for a smooth launch and such.
The environments look incredible, but the face animations are way to uncanny for me.
