Is it just me or Quan-Chi is looking much better than Shang-Tsung? Shang is just a generic sorcerer now, the only thing that reminds me of the OG is the morphing. Quan on the other hand has all his OG abilities, the necromancy, the green skulls, the portals, his ability to cast a spell that buffs him or debuffs his opponent, the move where he comes from above to land on the opponent even his ability to summon creatures is here and was even expanded upon. Not to mention that unlike Shang-Tsung's generic ass grab, where he just spins with the opponent, Quan-Chu actually displays his powers on his grab and it's full of personality. The only thing missing is his Trance move which I'll say is unfortunate, it's like having Scorpion without his spear for me, but not everything is perfect. Honestly, MK1's Shang Tsung is the worst one yet.
