Been maining the DAV3 since it came out in 2022. I've tried other mice (Glorious Model D2 PRO, Pulsar Xlite V3 ES, Lamzu Thorn, ZOWIE EC2-CW) but none of them came close to replacing the DAV3 so I returned them. The DAV3 is a beast and the king of mice.
@@Authentyc I would agree. My main is lamzu thorn. I have a ton of mice from gpx, custom ones, storm breakers, zowie ec1cw, dav3, viper ultimate etc. Lamzu feels the same as the day I opened it. I can't make the decision until I saw this video. I'm personally a g502x plus user but seeking for lighter mice with only one reason, it feels extremely good when play moba but kinda weighty with cs valo and some sort of "gun" major games like the density 2. @@keymastahh how big is your hand? i have never use any ambidextrous mouse, so im worried. about the polling rate, im using deathadder v3 wired, i can say i feel it, it felt smoother and more responsive for the cursor movement, for tracking games like apex legends, overwatch i can feel the difference, but for valorant or cs2, barely any difference since there is no tracking needed, that my experience. For the mouse im wondering if the shape will be better for me since ergonomic mouse seems better for precision but ambidextrous have more space to maneuver , im thinking its better for tracking games.
Scroll wheels are the same on all razer mice, belongs in the trash bin sadly. Personally i would never swap off the deathadder, i cant really say my hand is perfect fit for the size, but ive been rocking deathadder since the very first version way back and literally cant use any other mouse, tested them all, it just doesnt feel good enough. Keep in mind, there actually is little to no difference in these two mice and what you really should do, is to visit a local store and try them out in your hand personally
Idk about more space to maneouver, they take up about as much space down under as the other, its literally boiling down to how much space you have on your mouse pad
does anyone know if the scroll wheel on the DAV3 is light or there is a feel to it ? the current wired Razer DeathAdder model i have is an old model and the scroll is very light its easy to scroll twice. for example when i want to prone in COD i prone and get up when i meant to prone only.
Neither, Lamzu Thorn. Razer QC is just too bad and their support for mice that ask for premium pricing is a joke. They have too many issues and too lack luster support for the price to be worth it. Honestly with all the cheaper options that offer everything Razer does and more, I can't recommend razer to basically anyone. They aren't bad mice, if you're lucky enough not to have QC issues, but they just still are just too expensive in todays market of a constant stream of 4k/8k wireless mice. Which is mostly a gimmick sales pitch anyway.
Did your deathadder ever develop the sides flexing? I've been a deathadder/g403-703/mamba user for as long as I've been gaming and that ergo shape is the most comfortable for me. Currently I'm on the GPX and it causes pain around the thumb area for palm grip cause the mouse isn't wide enough in the back to cover that area as well, the closest most comfortable shape that does come close to deathadder is the viper v2 pro and because of how bad it gets after like an hour of gaming I'm just really close to getting a new viper v2 pro or giving a newer batch of DAV3 another chance I've been contemplating the new Viper but it seems to be just as narrow in the back as the GPX so that's not an option for me.
The sprime pm1 is basically a g703 mini, so if you don't mind a smaller size g703 then you could get that. Otherwise I would just get the newest batch of the dav3 pro. Razer started re-offering the smooth touch edition as an option, if you like that kind of coating.
I've had my DAV3 since it came out in 2022. No issues at all. I've dropped it several times too on accident (from the desk to a hard floor). Still works and no flex.
It is not better, its solely his personal preference. The mice is essentially the same except the viper allows for slightly higher dpi, and lets be real, you arent going above 30k dpi anyway. Its literally JUST the design under your palm.
