Great video, thank you. My main two take aways is that I should go through as much of the story as I can until I unlock world exploration (including hogsmeade) about 6-8 hours in. Then for the room of requirements don't really look at it until you're level 15 and past chapter 2 when you unlock beast taming. Will keep this in mind thank you!
Just by looking at videos of walkthroughs and guides .. I can tell you I’m really liking this game . They did everything right ! I preordered the deluxe edition , so I’m currently waiting for the count down to finally get my hands on this masterpiece ❤👏
Not sure if this is true for others but if you want to save your health potions you can fly away from fights and automatically heal up. The enemies health will stay the way it was before you left so you don’t need to worry about starting the fight over.

As a side note, you do unlock the unforgivable curses before level 27. I had all but the killing curse unlocked by the time a finished the main story and I was level 24-25. I got the killing curse shortly after.
sounds like the story mode is underpowered and you can easily complete it quickly without investing in the game, and that there's an awful lot of side fluff to force you to unlock the cool things that will end up having very little use as there's no story by that point to use them. L27 for Avada Kedavra which you might get to use in the last couple of missions, then what do you do with it? Doesn't seem like dark magic and multiple endings is as integral as we were led to believe given it takes so long to unlock them given how much of the story you have to play first. 20 hour story mode when the opening "mission" is an hour long and is heavily scripted and cut-scene based seems a bit brief.
I’m not a gamer, I’ve literally never been interested in a game before so when I heard about this and looked into it I was so excited and told my husband who IS a gamer and he immediately went out and got it for me. I’m about 18 hours in and I’m not playing correctly at all but I’m absolutely obsessed and in love with it, I’m mostly exploring and marveling at everything and the game play and side quests are just things to do while I’m out exploring, lol. I’ve spent way too much time customizing my Room of Requirement my husband is just so happy to see me enjoying a game he doesn’t even tease me about it. With so many content creators stating how it takes them (or a general player in their opinion) 7-10 hours to get the broom; I can’t help but wonder if players are even taking their time to explore the world and just enjoy the game, or if they are just main-lining the story and beating the game the fastest. It took me about 15-20 hours already and I just recently got my broom and the beasts nap-sack.
