Also, that diamond are actually stone and goes thru a lot of processes because they become who they are. Anchor, it is inspired by a bible verse. (Heb 6:19) An assurance to myself that God is always there. That he always has my back. Music note, that in memories of Christian Grimmie (RUclipsr Singer) after she left the world. Done at Wildpaw Tattoo Co by Jamie. (Dec 2019) took 2 years to decide on one 😂 Black bands over my shin and calf. Total of 3 bands, 1 thick, 1 mild and 1 fine line. I've research that people do this to remember their loved ones. Those that are deceased. In my case, both my maternal grandparents (2014, 2017) in Chinese it's known as 带孝 so it's done on my left leg (: can't do my arm cos of social stigma and bcos of my job. Healthcare industry
I have one on the inside of my arm done early this year and it looks like a crystal sword; the hilt is a half-and-half of Rey and Kylo Ren's saber. I had an obsessive Reylo phase and this was the result („ಡωಡ„)
You don’t need to justify the meaning of a tattoo to get one. If you like it, just get it. I have more than 10 on me and not all of them have meanings. Kudos to the first girl, the quality of her tattoos are awesome.
I think one thing that is often not talked about is the longevity of the tattoo. Some of the more popular and trendy styles of tattoos doesnt really age well such as those micro/fineline tattoos and micro portraiture especially. No one talks about how the lines blur after a few years. They look real nice fresh but after a few years they will very likely not look as high def and detailed. Had one by a relatively famous korean artist and after 4 years with it, the blurring of the tattoo is actually quite obvious already and who knows how it will look like after decades. So choose the style wisely! Heard this saying: Bold will hold. And in the future, I will definitely look into more lasting styles. p.s no ragretz though :)

Can't relate.... Tattoos to non-fans like me just look like dirty marks on the skin and it doesn't help that some of them are also downright ugly and scary. Why cover up beautiful natural skin with ink? Why mark yourself in such a horrible way and cover the natural God given beauty? There is really no good reason on earth to trade in beautiful skin forever for man-made ugliness (aka art). Even if you were to change your mind, there is no going back to the original. So, for those who are thinking of getting a tattoo, please don't let your feelings (no matter how valid they may be) to destroy the gift of clean, beautiful skin. No fashion statement or sentimental reason will ever justify trading in beauty for ashes.
You could have ended your argument on the very first sentence. Using god or religion to justify not having a tattoo destroys your argument and breaks your structure. People would love hearing about intellectual claims and back-ups that are fully founded and not some "what if god exists" kind of thing. Honestly, even saying "what if you get a tattoo and then go out of the salon and get killed by a speeding car and waste that money?!" is a better argument that what you are proposing. Just my two-cents

I think it is more that you just closed off your mind towards Mary’s argument at her mention of God because of your preconceived notions about God. I think she makes a fair point that we should think twice about having tattoos. Not many jobs are receptive to people with visible tattoos eg govt jobs. Also, when you’re young, you have beautiful firm and taut skin. Wait until 30/40 years and you’ll see your skin sag and the tattoo loses its shape and beauty
