I need to check the exchange rate from Singapore to USA dollars, because I think these "Korean guest artists" are ripping them off. I'm a licensed tattoo artist in San Francisco, California, USA. We're one of the most popular and expensive cities to travel to for tattoos in the USA and these prices for the quality of the work seems a bit high to me.
The prices for 4-6 are ridiculous... I have customs, same sizes, plus shading but not more than $300... what's happening in the industry right now~ It would be great if Zula can invite some tattoo artist down for a chat.

Tattooing is illegal in Korea, so we get a lot of the same scammers here, but they're also working illegally here without a green card (license to work in the USA as a foreigner) nor a tattoo license (have to register with the County and pay taxes and fees, which they do not do).
I don't think the Korean's pieces aged very well as seen in this video, the work also not very nice ah tbh haha.. I got mine locally n usually I just give them inspo ideas and they charge way less t-t but to each their own, so long they think it's worth it then its all that matters xD
@@joycie6567 They didn't age well at all. The galaxy girl said she paid $300 for a constellation that completely faded and she had to have it redone. The front half of the fox is almost gone. Even the two cranes on the $2,100.00 tree landscape are halfway missing. Tattooing is illegal in Korea. That's why they travel to scam clients in other countries. They are only in town for a week, usually, so if your tattoo doesn't heal well, you can't go back to the same artist for a free touch-up. You have to pay again to a different artist to fix it.
