Thank you for talking about this very important topic of anger. Some people walk around angry all the time and do not know it. They do not realize how their anger hurts other people.
Mary, I'm one of those people, and I know I have ruined many good relationships and hurt so many people, and I am ashamed of who I have become. I've even tried suicide because my guilt is consuming me. But God is working on me and I am trying my best to surrender to Him and make amends with those I've wounded and hurt...
The timing of this message is perfect. As Christ Jesus my Lord and savior is perfect. Thank you for this ministry which is so wonderful with the articulate and cerebral discussions which is so refreshing.
You are so right about the anger and confusion that this world is going through. Thank you for reminding us that we have a loving Savior and we all can take anything and everything to him and he will give us his peace 🙏🌹❤️
There is a lot less emotional weight to deal with when carrying only today’s baggage. It is easier to handle one day’s bit of information rather than all my yesterdays. Thanks for the reminder and encouragement to be present in the moment I am living in.
Thanks for the message! I think we should protect ourselves against too much negative content in social media. And we should put ourselves in other's shoes more often, even when we differ greatly in our point of view. When solving conflicts, we should try to focus in reaching an agreement, rather than always wanting to be right. At least, this is the way I'm trying to deal with anger myself.
In the early 1900s, my Dad was born into the "Over The Rhine" German community in Cincinnati, Ohio. So many of the people in that community were very angry people.😥 I've often said that they weren't happy unless they were arguing with someone.... Because of his heritage, my Dad struggled with terrible, inner anger issues in his life. When we would visit Dad's parents, I can still remember Dad and my Grandfather getting into arguments. My Grandmother would be crying, and my Mom would be insisting that it was time to leave, and that Dad needed to go to our car with Mom and me. I can still remember my Grandfather telling my Dad that in our lives, "You gotta get them before they get you!" (Thankfully, my Dad didn't take that advice.) But I wish so much that my Dad could have heard this Sermon! How true are the words which the Holy Spirit gave to Pastor Boonstra for this Sermon!!! May God continue to richly bless him, his family, and his ministry, is my prayer. 🙏❤️
@@truebeliever3949 My experience shows me it's the right wing evangelicals that speak and threaten to do the most damaging things. We should all take to heart what Mrs White says about politics in chapter 57 of Counsels for the Church... And we would do well to remember that Jesus did not come here to establish an earthly government...
@@Michael65429 no worries because the left wing has perverted everything so bad, that now the right will be able force there apostate religion on government.. we should all preach peace and safety. So sudden destruction will come, then at the last trump, Michael will stand up 😉
I have sought help for my anger, but even among professionals there seems to be a priority toward apathy and just getting through the day. I believe that even therapists need therapy. So for now I'm just stuck with that a solution and don't know why I'm not able to focus very well when I open my Bible. I wish I was a better man, but I just don't seem to have the willingness to try anymore.
Do you ever find that even in righteous issues, boiling anger leaves you helpless rather than empowered? I have made unwise decisions about what to do concerning a dangerous issue, by letting anger go mercurial. I need to stop and think through the options, and pray about which God wants me to try first.

Really can’t say but when my wife goes somewhere the person blows up every time. And it scares her and she’s afraid of the person enough to make her cry.
@@frankstrack7980 Does the person do the same thing if you are with your wife? If so, is there anything you could say that would result in a different outcome? Is mental incapacity a contributing factor? Too many possibilities for an applicable response/solution. Maintaining that relationship and ending it both come with a price. Which has the higher cost, is the relationship worth it? Prayer first always and remember that he said sometimes there are people you need to eliminate from your life.

This message is good. He gets to one of anger's roots & offers a solution. Thanks for the Bible answer!🎉

Thank you Mr Boonstra. You're a legend!!!
Thanks for the perspective Pastor. I've had this problem for most of my 68 years. Still dealing with it today...
Excellent especially for this time in our world. Praying for our country and my self. May the Lord be with you as you share God’s great love ❤️!
I liked, subscribed, shared two comments, and shared it on Facebook. 😍
Thank you Pastor always look forward to your teachings💞

Have really enjoyed the presentations. They provide plenty of ‘food for thought’.
This is so needed now with what this country is going through. Civil war is not out of the question in a few months
If they rig the election ( again) , for Kamala there's no doubt civil war will happen. Given another pandemic lockdown is planned this fall
Yeah the left and right wings have gone off the deep end. most can't be reasond with anymore.

Does pastor Shawn Boonstra have a church he preaches at. Anyone know?

How do I deal with angers from things that happened when I was younger?
You need counseling
Forgiveness .. ( forgiving others and yourself ❤
Its hard but, Jesus will give you what you need to forgive and release the offender and you will be set free from the anger too!
How do you deal with someone else’s anger?
Depends who the person is.

@@frankstrack7980 Avoid that person then. God calls us to peace!
