    Sam Spruell was absolutely incredible. He played an alien, other-worldly being that made you cringe but was also intriguing and ultimately made you empathize with. So memorable.

    This season is so good. If Jennifer Jason Leigh doesn't get an emmy nomination for episode 6, there is no justice in the world.

      After watching the “behind the scenes” interviews, this is a male hating/Donald Trump hating season. Toxic masculinity. That’s the theme. Sure it exists in a small negative percentage, but it serves, invents, and protects in a much larger percentage.

      Why the f*ck would you only bring up Wayne and Malvo? As if Wayne is suppose to Season 5’s answer to Malvo. Why not bring up Dot, Roy or Munch? These characters exhibit similar characteristics way better. Seriously, Why is Wayne’s character the centrepiece of your criticism for this season?
      And Secondly. Why do people always obsess over Malvo? I agree he’s the best character in the show but it’s pretty stupid every season has to have a “Malvo equivalent”. His character fit the tone of the first season quite well, trying to recapture another joker-like anarchist character every season would just get so repetitive.

    • @henrydavel1440
      @henrydavel1440 4 месяца назад

      @@Monk_Chud Of course there is gonna be commonalities that the season’s share, I mean they’re inspired by the Coen brothers for heck’s sake; their entire catalogue has a recurring theme of a crime involving incompetent criminals and a kidnapping which lead to unforeseen consequences.
      And this season is also different in so many ways, topics such as politics and domestic violence are more forefront, this season was essentially more woke; which is an element that irritated me originally but that ultimately made sense considering this was the Fargo season taking place in our era (2019 specifically but close enough) and of course progressive elements are gonna be present whether we like it or not. So this season wasn’t too repetitive, it was very much different; but not in the way some would have liked.
