Juno Temple has been underrated for so many years in the past. I'm so happy that Ted Lasso and Fargo put her in a lot of people's radar and gave her the recognition she truly deserves. I hope she gets more big roles in the future, she's so talented

One of the best efforts at a Minnesota accent I've ever heard from a non-native. She does not go for the exaggerated parodies so often used, but her vowels hit lightly on what one truly hears in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota.
Even ger Essex wasn't full on, & that's for a sort of comedy where your more allowed to go a bit ott
It felt a little forced to me, but she’s fabulous in general. 😊
It was great - but I found Richa Moorjani's accent to be the best, if we're comparing authenticity. Mary Winstead's was also incredible, Season 3. The original, Martin Freeman, was kind of a parody "Ahh, heck! ....just....HECK!", but dead-on. Kirsten Dunst in S2, I mean come on, that was remarkable. I'm always in awe of people who can adapt to accents. Though I believe him to be a sack of fecal matter, Jon Voight in the film "The General" did the north Dublin accent so well I can't believe it.
It is amusing or a little sad that everyone continues to expect a Minnesotan accent in Fargo, North Dakota?

I’m from Minnesota and I thought she nailed the accent perfectly! She’s such a cutie too 😊 Martin Freeman, another Brit, played in a previous Fargo series and he could also do the accent really well. They’re both such great actors. ❤
Yeah, I gotta say that Brits do a really good job of getting the American accent down...especially the accents from different parts of America.
I absolutely love Juno Temple. Such a talented beauty who exudes kindness. She has given us 3 brilliant roles in a row...The Offer, Ted Lasso, and Fargo. I hope she gets the Emmy for it this year!

There are two types of stars; One who basically play themselves in every role and we love them for it. The other is actors like Juno Temple who disappear into character. She is beyond amazing in Fargo. She's the real deal.

After seeing all episodes of Fargo Season 5, i'm so happy that Juno Temple led this season beautifully (and that's saying something given that Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh, two bigger names than her were in the season with her too yet Juno was a huge stand out of the season for me, surpassed everybody else in season 5). She truly knocked it outta the park and her accent was quite amazing given that she's a British person aswell as the fact that she had to switch accent quicky from Ted Lasso to Fargo during filming. If she wins an Emmy for her role, i'd be so happy
She did! I loved her!! She was so good that I didn’t realize she was in Ted Lasso. (I stopped watching after 2 seasons). Season 5 of Fargo was great except for the last couple episodes, especially the finale which was a let down.

But I was fine with the alternative!!! And the final scene with Mook honestly brought a tear to my eye. Why weren't you keen? (inquiring, not challenging)
Re-fell in love with her in The Offer. Her accent work is probably one of the best in Hollywood.

I’ve been a fan of her since I saw her in St Trinians and Atonement. She has come a long way and is finally getting noticed. Fargo is her best role.
This season of Fargo was just perfection. Everyone was incredible. Would have liked to have heard Juno talk more about JJL. One of the few seasons of any show where I was tempted to just watch it all again from the start. And my lord, that final episode was astounding.
Well, that puppet dream episode was complete nonsense and unnecessary same as quite a few murders that did nothing for the story. But the final scene made up for all of it.

When I first heard her speak as Juno, I was really surprised by the fact that she did not have an Essex accent and that she is a Brit raised in L.A. so her accent is really unique. Maybe that's why she eventually succeeded in transitioning to a Minnesota accent and did it flawlessly as well. She's enormously talented.
she wasnt raised in LA, she grew up in somerset UK. she lived in LA with her parents for a couple years as a toddler but grew up in the south of England and did all her schooling there. she then moved to the US when she was twenty trying to ditch all the school girl roles she was getting and became an indie starlet in the states but never becoming a house hold name until ted lasso

A master of her craft, Juno is. She's always been great but I'm so glad that Ted Lasso brought her into more peoples' awareness. I love the fact that when Jason Sudeikis contacted her about the part of Keeley, she was pretty sure he got a hold of the wrong person because she hadn't been known as a comedic actress...ever....at that point in her career. She's just so excellent and her laugh is what dreams are made of

I first found out about her a while back ago in the film Killer Joe. She's been doing amazing work ever since. Fargo S5 was so good. Highly recommend
Killer Joe was the first thing I saw her in. I'd heard of her before that for being part of the St Trinian's movies but never watched them.
Killer Joe was my first experience of her. She only gets better and better. She'll have an Oscar one day.
I actually first saw her as the red headed teenage cousin in Atonement with Keira Knightley, James McAvoy, Saoirse Ronan, and Benedict Cumberbatch. And then when I saw her in Ted Lasso, I had to do a double take and say, “Is that really the same girl?” She’s mega talented and I hope she continues to shine.

The new season of Fargo was so so good, and most of that was because of Juno Temple. What an amazing actress to suddenly have in our lives.
I first saw her in Atonement and she was brilliant. What a scary role for a young girl, with what happens in the film, and she nails it. Loved her in everything I’ve seen her in since.
Before Fargo I haven’t watched any film or show starring Juno,but i loved her in Fargo and she is so flawless that i decided to watch ted lasso although I dont understand football

I love Juno Temple. I’ve been waiting for this season of Fargo to end so I can binge watch every episode one after another. I started watching the beginning of the season and I just couldn’t wait for the next week’s episode. Now I’m going to watch them all back to back.

Ms. Temple has been an interesting star to me for a looong time. Her presence in a movie was like a bonus to whatever else made me watch. Now! Her Fargo performance is soooo sooo good… now, if she’s in a movie, I’ll be watching it to see her performance specifically. I look forward to the rest of her career.

There are a lot of great things about FARGO Season 5. As well as Juno Temple's amazing performance, she mentioned two others: Jennifer Jason Leigh (still under-appreciated to the wider public) and Jon Hamm (playing Juno's character's nemesis). If the subtext for the season is the strength of women against the brutality of men, these 3 actors totally embody that. A very powerful and gripping season, perhaps the best yet.
She is so freaking talented and I predict Oscar sometime in the future. What a doll and so jealous she got to meet Lenny, the coolest moment and the coolest man alive!!!

Juno is awesome. Her voice accents are spot on. Before Ted Lasso, I did not know she was not from the states. Always notice her over the years but she has great skills and is believable in her roles.

I was born and raised in the deep northern midwest and Juno's accent was stunningly good-- better, I think, than I've seen from any other actor in a Fargo season. I was so startled to hear that come out of her after knowing her from Lasso first.
My wife and I loved her in Fargo. Hearing her regular accent is .... unexpected....

@@pmorton7960 yeah it’s definitely not a film for everyone, it was quite a f’d up story especially the last 20 minutes! but i enjoyed it’s very dark humour. I thought Matthew McConaughey was excellent in it too.
@@thunderousapplause I recommend them all, but Killer Joe is a crazy and dark movie thats also quite brutal in parts. Vinyl was a promising show about the music industry set in new york in the 70’s, but it was cancelled after only one season. It was a Martin Scorsese show too so it was a bit of a shame it didn’t get enough viewers. Worth a look though

It is really weird that she is star-struck by a musician considering her upbringing. Her dad is Julien Temple, a noted director, first of videos and movies about Rock and Roll, then of story based full length movies as well. There were often Rock stars around the house during her early days in England, then again when they made the move to L.A.
The Minnesota accent is more heavy in areas outside of the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. Like up north. The urban area has accents that are harder to figure as being from Minnesota.
