    The three part discussion sure was long and packed full of information. I’ll be honest, most of us can only follow a tiny bit of the level of detail and complexity of your conversation but nonetheless fascinating. A 20min summary sure is needed for the layperson. Sounds like this paper is just the first of many and much more to come . Inquisitive and provocative .

      thank you!!I listened twice.
      Wasn't sure how I was going to tell Rob...can you please dumb this info down for me. Cause I tried really hard...and I was lost from the get go lol.
      But I am very interested in her research. it sounded like they had worked out some great stuff. but I have zero clue what it was 😕

      I am surprised and relieved that you say this is acceptable, according to '' experts" blood glucose over 90 is too high and 18 hour fast it should drop below 80. Thank you I will ignore the so-called experts because I do feel very healthy in fact healthier than I felt 5 years ago.@@robertcywes2966

    I have recently added 🥔, 🍿 and 🍕, a few times per week. I'm good. OMAD and intermittent fasting, 6 hour feeding window. I'm 68 and sooo happy with my path I've chosen. 🙏🤞

    I really do appreciate Dr. Cywes; a very interesting review of data that challenged my non clinical (n of 1) understanding. What a lovely guest. I hope she will be invited to discuss her studies with other learned Dr's and Professors. I would like to see this data reviewed with Professor Bikman and others et al in this low carb/Keto and carnivore community. Receiving the insight from different specialties is helpful to deceminate and appropriate these types of studies as we seek to improve our metobolic health.
    Thank you. Well done.

    Can someone please put these biomarkers into a visual that shows them cycling over days, weeks, and months when what type of person eats what and when over so many years.
    I can grasp most of it but usually, I get the full comprehension when it's visually synced together

    Wait, so if you eat lots of protein you don't go in ketosis? But what if all that protein simply isn't enough for your daily energy needs as I believe it can't be, won't you still be consuming some fat despite never going into ketosis?

  • @mikerudd4943

    I am trying to control my glucose/insulin. I am on carnivore. I am concerned about the amount of protein in my dinner or large meal. I am now spreading it out over not one, or two but three meals. 9 months on carnivore. My ketones are almost ALWAYS in the 40 range(urine test). My latest blood test had a BUN of 25. Creatine is ok. WBC is about 2.5. Lower than my normal

    If a person cannot eat any carbs, or low carb, after long time carnivore and no carb, so that person is obviously not healthy, doesn't have a healthy metabolism. It is just common sense.

    • @Dav624
      @Dav624 17 дней назад +1

      It's not about not being able to eat it's more that the body has more detailed way to interpret the poisoning from carbohydrates where as the guy who consumes carbs daily will not be able to point out detailed problems like a non regular consumer would become his detailed nerves would be long gone to interpret detailed small damages here and there but the damage is not magically disappeared it's just ur body that's unable to alarm u about it anymore...and carbs are by no means healthy to consume for any mammal not just humans especially as main food source...thats just a slow suicide

    I think we’re not seeing the normal outcomes that you see in clinic because these people are simply too young to have progressed in any disease state when compared to people like me who are about to turn 58. I have more of the issues that Dr. Cywes points out. These subjects are still healthy.
