Ya for sure, It's hard to explain how good it feels to play this deck, cards that are vanilla stats + Effect always lose a 1k Counter for "balance" purposes, but this deck says yep we're just going to give it right back.
Love the budget build! The only change I would recommend is to swap the 2k otama for the 2k Yamato from EB-01. It’s a 5 cost character that can be played off of Hiyori that can give a rested don to leader oden, thus you can become a 6k leader as early as your 4 don turn. I don’t think the power reduction fits this build as much, and Yamato brings the overall price down just a bit. Love all the rest of the choices for this build though
Ya I talk about the Red 5c Yamato 2k Counter towards the end of the video and I really want to fit that card in. I like the idea of getting rid of the -2000 Power Otama 2k's, but they are very strong against decks running 8c Kid, dropping it down to a 6k is very easy for this deck to swing in to. I might have to change my 12 2k's into something like: 4x Otama Searcher, 2x Otama Pwr Reducer, 3x Izo, and 3x Yamato? Maybe something along those lines, just have to do some play testing.
@@noooodIe Ya some people really want Foxy to work, and to be completely honest the deck is only about 2-3 cards away from being pretty decent, . However, when it comes to RG Oden, not only is it probably just as cheap (at least my version is), but it's also in a much better spot in the current meta in my personal opinion. Then if you play it and start thinking it's really strong, you can just upgrade my version very easily with the cards mentioned in the video
This is a GREAT leader that I main play it. I actually run a similar list, but I run Two 9C Zoro and Two 4C Yamato. Instead I play 9C Rush Red 10K Power Shanks. Mannnnnn Let me tell you, that catches EVERYONE off guard and it helps PUSH and keep pressure. If you have Nami and/or Denjiro on board, the value you get is insane.
Triple Zoro, I found, is too slow at times, and in about 10 matches, he might be able to get one attack off, other times, he gets removed instantly, and with Blue and Green decks, he gets frozen or bottom decked, and black just KOs it and by that time, they can be going for game. It always hard to find a “right” time to play Zoro without dying the following turn lol
@@patricknoel5747 This is exactly how I feel about Zoro and the experience I've had with him. Its like okay ya if you get him to stick it's over, but if you don't your turn just went down the drain lol

Not watched the video yet but when doing some deck crafting i foujd that cards like 9c rosinante can help when facing black as the slowness of cards like denjiro is this decks main weakness against removal and its helped alot on the sim, seems im the only one whos thought of this so far 🤷🏿

What would you take out for the upgrades (hody, Newgate, etc) also what about putting in 5c double attack banish Yamato seems like it would be a good option
The flexible spots in this deck in my personal opinion are: 2 Denjiro 2 4c Yamato 2 Ryuma 2 3c Okiku 2 Red Hawks (could definitely just be Rad Beams and be less gimmicky) 4 Samurai (if you don't think the card draw is needed) I would consider the rest pretty much staple for what the deck is trying to do, but that is 14 spots that you can pick and choose to do what you want with and adjust the list/improve it to your liking As far as 2k Counters go, I think adding the 5c Red Yamato is a step in the right direction as well. I run 12 2k Counters and some people might be thinking of going down to 10 is another way to free up some spots in the deck (especially since your Leader will probably be 6k often). 4x R Otama, 4x G Otama, and 4x Izo could very easily be something like 3x R Otama, 3x G Otama, 3x Izo, and 3x 5c R Yamato (this will come down to player preference at the end of the day) I'm not a huge fan of the 5c SEC Yamato that has Double Strike + Banish, but it is definitely something to mess around with; it turns on the Leader Effect, can be cheated out with Hiyori, and is searchable by both Otama and Momo. My problem with that card is it's so much easier for Law to deal with, removing a 5k versus a 7k is going to be an extra Gordon difference if they aren't running the Fire Fist.

Try running the 3c mink blocker. Oden can summon him from the deck and he's also wano.
