What an excellent video. Thanks so much for taking the time to painstakingly record each step. This will be invaluable to anyone doing this job themselves.
Man, that was great! I have done several clutch jobs in my time, but would never have the patience to keep setting up a camera for everything I'm doing. Not to mention, I'm I believer that if your not cussing at the car or bleeding on it your just not doing the job right. 😂 Don't listen to the haters. Excellent work!
I'm working at my friend's shop and we were having a hard time to remove the shifter cables, you saved our lives bro!!! Keep up the good work!!! Cheers from brazil!
Renault thought it was a brilliant idea to use an 8mm pipe plug. SnapOn part # is PMM408A for the 8mm pipe plug socket. Be sure to use a new metal washer/seal as it crushes down with the torque spec.
Yo real shit, thanks for this video!!! there are literally no videos on the B16 Sentra. granted im swapping an automatic CVT, but its pretty much the same thing. much appreciated!
Nissan really layed an egg on that slave cylinder bleed procedure, what a joke! Thanks again Jabo! Btw, enjoy that beautiful little girl of yours, she looks like a super sweety. They grow fast so enjoy those early years, once they're gone, they're gone!
Please be aware that the flywheel bolts are NOT TP55 socket heads. They areTP35. To hold the flywheel from turning it's much easier to re-install 2 of the pressure-plate bolts and then lodge a piece of flat barstock or angle iron between them and jammed against the frame or ground.
Thank you for the video, I did everything as you showed and have the same problem with the bleeder of the slave cylinder, too much backup pressure as if it was clogged or stuck, how do you fixed it or did I installed it wrong, the pedal is too hard, thank you so much again
Did your steering column fall out while doing this? Because we got everything back together but my column fell off with the subframe when we dropped it and don’t know if we have to remove the column panel or not
Hi Jabo, when you put the transmission back on the block did it just slide on completely without resistance or did you have to fight the spring teeth on the pressure plate to slightly compress them at the end? This part was in time-lapse so I couldn't tell...thanks. :)
I have some bad sound like vibrations coming from gear box when on silence but this sound gets away when i presd the cluth pedal. This hapened after replacing new cluth kit. What is this

Hey brother I recently got a 2012 Nissan Versa from auction I changed the transmission oil filter and did a full transmission oil change hopeing that would fix the problem that it’s having it kicks when I go on the freeway and won’t let me go over 40mph can you help??
It’s automatic..after I did the transmission service I ran it for about 20 miles at 100mph and no problem but the next morning I went to pump arco gas and I tried running it on the freeway again and it started kicking again and wouldn’t go over 40mph
@@JaboTheMechanic Thanks for the reply man! My friends also said to grab my clutch there. I was looking at AMS AUTOMOTIVE 06063, Clutch has been slipping. Gonna try to get this done next weekend! Any advice? Dealer was gonna charge me 2500 for the job lol

@@JaboTheMechanic how can I remove the pilot bearing from the same car?
So basically I shouldn’t do this myself.

Sacrifice tool is indeed between 8 and 10 mm.
It's a 3/8 " socket drive,
Just put a short extension on your ratchet an go.

Gotta say, excellent video. I just hope this job I'm about to do is as easy as you made it look. Thanks for the little "tips" you threw in.
How did the job go?
Yo real shit, thanks for this video!!! there are literally no videos on the B16 Sentra. granted im swapping an automatic CVT, but its pretty much the same thing. much appreciated!
Glad this helped
No matter what the clutch kit costs is way cheaper than a new automatic transmission!
Overall, a great job recording all of this. I always mean to record my work this way but I get lazy. Thanks for not being lazy like me!
Glad it helped!

Excellent detailed video. Question, if the flywheel is not as scorched as the one on this car do they always have to be changed?
Please be aware that the flywheel bolts are NOT TP55 socket heads. They areTP35.
To hold the flywheel from turning it's much easier to re-install 2 of the pressure-plate bolts and then lodge a piece of flat barstock or angle iron between them and jammed against the frame or ground.
Rap black tape around the pilot tool at the end of tool till it fits snug into the crank and that should center the clutch

Great work. Very impressive.
This was an excellent video that I had to subscribe. I have a 2007 Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec V and Im wondering if its the same process?
2007 Versa seems to be very similar but the 'pros' keep telling me that the 'hat' needs to be facing OUT- clearly they are incorrect?
Usastes los mismos tornillos para el flywheel y para el presure plate?
excellent video, Thanks!
Look at what you need to take out and take out everything in the way. Mechanic.
Did your steering column fall out while doing this? Because we got everything back together but my column fell off with the subframe when we dropped it and don’t know if we have to remove the column panel or not
There is a loose wire that is laying in the back, seen at 20 min and 23 seconds. I have been trying to figure out what it goes to.

Is it normal that the transmission to mount it is a little difficult to stick it to the block? I think it is for the slave, right? ?
Yes it is. The slave should not be in the way
cuanto tiempo te tomo terminar todo el trabajo? how long did you take to finish the job?
It took me 4-5hrs
How much are you charging to do the clutch work? I will I wonder how much please thank you.❤😂🎉
Does the OEM clutch for this car have asbestos? My clutch failed while going up hill and I’m concerned about smelling the burning rubber smell.
If anybody knows I have the sr 2017 turbo l have to replace the clutch my question do I have to remove the front chassis frame. Thanks in advance.
Ate the b15 and b16 clutch kit interchangeable?
No, they are not.
I have a 2010 Nissan Sentra 6 speed manual how do I adjust the clutch
No clutch adjustment, only pedal throw adjustment at the clevis.
Although the video grafic angles are not the best view, but awesome video...

Wrap a tow strap where the 13mm bolt are at. Wrap the axle and use a slide hammer to help. Lmk if that helps

All that work . You just needed half that work. Could’ve been done in half the time
