Cherry MX Switches (most downward pressure needed - to - least downward pressure needed) Tactile: Grey Clear Brown Tactile-click: Green Blue Linear: Black Silent-R Red Silent-S
You should try putting gamerfinger buttons in your arcade stick it's basically arcade buttons with mechanical switches inside or use crown 202 buttons and change the switches Wulff den
Unfortunately you cannot use screw in buttons with the 8bitdo arcade stick, only snap in. The PCBs for the LEDs block the nuts from screwing onto the buttons properly.

Keyboard modding should be a side series of yours. Bet it would have as much traction with your current viewer base… it would with me for sure. Keep em coming
Just fyi, you can't use crown buttons because they are screw in and the 8bitdo arcade stick needs push buttons to fit. afaik you either need to buy gamerfinger buttons which are hard to find or you need to mod a sanwa button with a cherry mx switch and buy a new plunger for them which gets a little expensive. edit: nvm looks like the gamefinger buckle/snap buttons are in stock again. That's the easiest route to have cherry mx switch buttons for the 8bitdo stick.
Someone tell him that same paradise shop has a drop in mod for Sanwa that let's you add keyboard switches to your old Sanwa buttons it's like $45 for 8 of the pcb and plunger
Screw ins are an issue with that stick, the stick is too small to take them well and the plastic below would have the screws go through it, possibly to the other side.
@Monotech2.0 if you’ve never played fighting games with and arcade stick and are comfortable with a pad then just stick to pads. Using an arcade stick will just make you relearn the game and be a waste of time. Arcade sticks don’t give you any advantage over pads and newer fighting games are designed with pads in mind. A hitbox controller can give an advantage because you can hold multiple directions at a time. But otherwise it isn’t worth it if you are already comfortable with a pad
Switching from a Sanwa knockoff to a Sanwa isn't going to feel that different. Try some Seimitsu or Hori buttons if you want a real noticeable difference. :)
Can’t say why, but I really get the vibe Bob wants us all to come to his house
Methinks he doth protest too much…
Lol he'll be ready with a shotty to our face.... Worth it
Omg I just thought the same thing
Starting a great morning with a video from Bob
Wish everything was that easy to fix and take apart, now days I feel I like need to become a god damn rocket scientist to fix anything.
This looks like such a fun project!

For a long time I was like: Oh Wulff Den, his name must be Dan, right?
Then I realized your name was Bob
That ain't a knife this is a knife!
I would love to play Mario with this controller. Mario’s my favourite
Holy Moly! Bob the Mario fan extraordinaire, doesn't recognise the sun from Mario 3!

Ok ty :3
Heads up: Sanwa buttons have tabs that snap really easily when you remove them. Next time, get screw in buttons.

Those keyboard controls are blasphemy
If keyboard switches were a woman, Bob would be all over her

Sanwa is overrated.
