I was surprised that the Marauder Tanks were almost on par with overlords, who knew?
i think it is just that the emperor's pathing tends to be glitching sometimes and the marauder's moves like a light not a heavy tank
Its because marauders stacked better. Should of been both groups with ctrl+F so they keep in formation and then see how it goes
marauders are insane after it gets all it's salvaged upgrades.
Anybody who's used or fought against fully-upgraded T3 Marauders. Most T3 fully-upgraded GLA vehicles are forces to be reckoned with, but maxed out Marauders are fucking scary. I only attack them from the air if I can help it, because at least my ground forces can usually comfortably outrun Overlord tanks, and it's probably not worth the number of missile infantry I'm going to lose taking it out that way.

Emperor overlords are the only thing I fear more than the max scrap marauder.
The truck in the beginning just casually minding his own business surrounded by Tanks with people inside, holding the trigger.

@@GamingStuff85 I always wanted to see if " Overlord " is stronger than " Battle Bus " . Strongest " Overlord " should be from regular " China " army or " China Nuke Army ( General Tao ) " , upgraded 2 times and get 3 star veterancy , added 5 " Tank Hunters " with 3 star veterancy in bunker with all upgrades from " China Infantry Army ( General Fai ) " , builded " Speaker Tower " with " Sublimminal Messaging " behind him , at least 3 " Strategy Centers " with " Bombardment , Search And Destroy , Hold The Line " strategies , get " Frenzy " general promotion to add + 30 % damage on 30 seconds . For " Battle Bus " difference is only that you add 8 " Tank Hunters " with 3 star veterancy and scrap him 2 times ( with all upgrades of course and all adds like " Overlord " ) . If you can make that you will be " Emperor " ! 😅
That's why I like the Marauder Tanks. The only issue with them is that they need quite a bit of time to salvage enough vehicles to bring them into full power. But once that's done, they are the most cost effective main battle tank with the best bang for the buck.
That's the thing though, they need all that scrap. Not easy to gather enough to make them that powerhouse without them getting screwed up in the process. On the other hand, the Emperor (or Overlord) only needs oil/hackers/supply enough to outfit it with a gatling cannon and build it. Then you have a self healing tank with anti-air capabilities. That Marauder you just spent ages and micro gathering scrap for can get messed up by a squad of Comanches patrolling around, or a quick MIG strike.

The path finding is soooo 2000s. The overlords in the back are bumping into each other as their brethren die

Remember Emperors got that minigun and healing, and shit will cost you 3000 to get everything on it.

Yes man I like How the GLA Don't have a high technology or even An Airforce but still A global threat GLORY TO THE GLA
Still easier to assemble such an army of emperortanks compared to maurauders since you'd have to pick up junk from 2 defeated enemy viechels for each marauder tank.
Why would you need 50 Emperor Overlords anyway?

GLA is one of the deadliest factions in the game for this exact reason. They look weak, but in the hands of a skilled player and enough patience to upgrade their units, they WILL ruin your day.

In this game, China has the best soldiers and tanks. USA has the best Air force and Defense. Gla has the best comouflag and the only toxin.
The Marauders are really strong if you can upgrade them all the way, the tricky part is getting them there. Even then you want to avoid head to head fights with Emperor Tanks, they are cheaper than Overlords and have free healing AOE. While they only barely won here it was because of their bad pathfinding given their sheer size, in a smaller group the fight would have been more onesided in their favor.
The Marauders have 2 advantages here, they are smaller so you can stack em easier and their path finding seems to be better.
The overlords had issues grouping and they trickled into the front lines slowly and never enough to grant an overwhelming advantage.
Yet they still won. I’d suggest trying this with the overlords stacked in a line and see how well the Mauraders do when it’s just then moving

Maybe u’d like to try nuclear overlords vs marauders. Both emperor and nuclear overlord are strong, but in different ways.

If the overlords have bunkers and filled with tank hunters, I think the overlords will have more survivors
Those are emperors, not overlords. They dont get bunkers. Why marauders did so good is they stacked better. Emperors should of been controlled better.

Emperors could easily wiped them out if all of them can attack at the same time.

In vanilla zh and generals standard and air force raptors can easily outclass migs unless they outnumbered by migs.

@@Mokujin433 nuke mig definitely does more damage than standard migs, they also quite effective against anti aircrafts and A-10 thunderbolts. I ve seen once mig shredded down a-10 by itself.

I was playing one day,had 1 brutal army Vs 2 medium and me,we were crossig the bridge and we got ambushed,I had 200 vehicles and only 14 survived,I played as china and enemy was gla,it was massacre

only reason why the emperor tanks won was because they were tier 2 Marauder tanks. tier 3 marauders can 1v1 and possible win against emperors
If you mean salvage tier, there are only 2 tiers.
