This was very common with me since i play zero hour with a mod that's either Contra or Rise of reds and i played with a brother and a father who are good players and when we'd play 1v1v1 I'd always be the last they'd attack since I'd always turtle and annoy than anything else. So whenever they'd actually attack me I'd die but my dozers and remaining troops would just take one inscupicious corner with supplies (with violence if it was already taken) and just settle there. They wouldn't attack me since i would cry and because they'd be busy attacking each other (mostly because I'd cry)
