Virtus may be looking good in design wise than Slavia..But A big big plus in Slavia is it provides a manual gear box in 1.5 TSI Which Virtus doesn’t👎Still many people asking for a manual gearbox in 1.5 TSI of Virtus…Manual lovers sure will pick Slavia for its 1.5 manual gearbox for sure 👍👍

Slavia 1.5L manual is unavailable as per the dealership. They're not able to provide the car due to very less orders.

Virtus and Slavia are somewhat the rebirth of sedans in India.
If these sell great and somehow the general public develops an appreciation of Sporty Saloon body style, then maybe we could see the relaunching of D-segment like Civic, Accord, Elantra, Corolla, and finally the end of the obsession of Shit Crososvers.
If it wasn't for the removal of 10 inch touch screen, wireless charging and 8 speaker skoda sound system, I would have definitely chosen Slavia. It looks super elegant and classy, which I personally love. Otherwise, Virtus for its crazy driving dynamics...
If one wants a screen and speaker, one should buy a smartphone and a speaker system...a car shouldn't be looked down upon based on speakers and screen
@@ArunabhMitra A car is generally a full package, all in one. BY YOUR LOGIC, Skoda should remove the wireless charger, because if you want a wireless charger, get a wireless charger yourself. They should remove the reverse gear camera, because if you want to look behind the car, get your own camera system. They should remove the ventilated seats, because if you don't want your back to sweat, apply cool power before driving...
Third party fittings are not fun and spoil the premium feel and experience!
Basically, there was no need to remove the awesome sub-woofer provided at the back. Further, they should not have increased the price since they have removed two-three features and not brought anything new to the table.
Also, its about the uncertainty... Who knows what they'll remove after we now book the car!
Except for the lack of wireless Android Auto, the new screen is fine as the degradation in the screen quality is offset by the introduction of knobs. So thats alright.

I get all the other valid points so I am not complaining about them but only the size of the screen and no. of speakers, that's not a deal breaker under any scenario ☺️😅 because if the product is good overall, it can be overlooked and also I'm not forcing anyone to buy, just enjoying the comment section below and having some fun 😅🥳
@@ArunabhMitra Yes, hehehe... I am still thinking of buying the Skoda Slavia (1.5 DSG if the budget supports it) the next year, overlooking the features removal fact... Can't seem to find any other car which is better than this in this price range!

Both are looking stunningly beautiful. Both these cars give descent mileage in highways than city..we have to be extremely light footed in city to get mileage of 13km/l ...start stop traffic we can't help it ll be very less than 13.
In highways in 6th gear cruising at 120km/hr mileage is 13-14. At 80-100 km/hr mileage will be around 16.
But I'm pretty people buying germans will not worry about mileage because driving this machine is like alcohol addiction...
Very entertaining video. Keep it up. Its a very close competition between Slavia and Virtus. I think it all boils down to what a person thinks about the exterior looks and the dashboard. Rest is similar. The biggest plus in favour of Slavia is the manual gearbox on the 1.5 TSI engine.

Basically both are the same products it depends on your personal taste just bought a slavia a few days ago as I had owned a vento previously and found the virtus looks similar to that of the vento’s and found the interior design of slavia better!

Thank you guys for speaking abt STEERING WEIGHT 🙏. Nobody pays importance to STEERING WEIGHT, all they speak abt is power, torque, milage. But what will u do of soo much power when u can’t control your car confidently and properly, all that power is waste if u can’t channelise it through the steering

Virtus it is! Slavia doesn't offer as much value as Virtus, and also Virtus is cheaper. Features and fit & finish is also better in Virtus, be it any variant.

I bought the Vw Virtus on 23rd july 2022, completed 1700 kms till 2nd august and reported a problem to service centre when i went in for swagat check up that the car is pulling to the left. They tried to solve the problem by exchanging front tyres, got back the car, problem was not solved, reported it back on 6th august. They confessed that the car is new and they don’t have any data for wheel alignment. I was called back on 11th august, i dropped my car and back to back 3 wheel alignments were done with trials, problem was not solved i tried showing the car 3rd party wheel alignment centres and they did not have the data for the car too, until now i had completed 3400 kms, now i had a indistrial vist to ahmedabad, mumbai, pune for which i travelled 2400 kms in my car and i face severe left shoulder pain in my trip for those 10 days, now i dropped my car again and 2 wheel alignments have been done again but the problem has not been solved as i went for the trial, service centre has opened up the disk of the car( which is a technical term of vw service centre to solve the issue via company ) service centre has acknowledged the issue now, but none of have the solution for this. Now as a part of doubt i went and took a test drive of both manual and automatic 1.0 demo cars and both of them were pulling to the left, which was shocking. As a part of doubt now i went to check skoda slavia and noticed that the car has same problem, till now i drove 4 cars and reported the same problem. See i have experience of around 2 lakh kms of driving in last 10 years in which i have driven 80kms on my VW Polo, so i have not faced an issue like this before. One suggestion came in as the road bankings are made on the left side so the car pulls on the left side but them someone suggest to drive the car wrong side on the same road and if car is pulling towards the divider, opposite to the banking, then the issue is serious, i did it. This is a serious issue and i have a tremendous shoulder pain. Writing this to big car channel, so that Vw should recognise this issue. Thank you🙏🏼

Slavia main push button start stop starring main h kyunki usme unhone parts bunane me koi waste nahi kiya sb kuch same h almost wahi VIRTUS me start Stop gear k pass diya h top me jo ki kbhi kbhi thik nahi raheta. SLAVIA main ventilation seats k control practical jaga h. Virtus main nahi vo virtus main driving side diye h jo safe nahi manual transmission me. SLAVIA main back seat me apke 2 extra pocket milegi phone rakhne k liye jo virtus main nahi h. Slavia main front headlight main indicators pr white reflector nahi h jo virtus main h VIRTUS main tail lights complete gloss black hai wahin SLAVIA main apko crystal lights milti h. Bht logo ko lagta h usko aise hi bolte h hoga kuch but uske piche bhi ek logic hai uske liye apko evening and night k time me SLAVIA headlight and tail lights on kr k dekh kr pata chalega VIRTUS me bs GT me apko same alloys ko black paint kr k red paint break caliper pr with carbon steel colour sunroof and lip spoiler milta h and SLAVIA ka weight VIRTUS se thoda zyada hai.

Skoda lokks better but virtus has better interriot quality not talking about interior design slavias design and ergonomics looks very classy but plastic in slavia will skeek in longer run
