You're very much welcome.
Thank you! To access the Novo button, a standard paper clip was too big. I had to use a SIM eject tool I had from an old phone.
Thanks
This is very useful, I have friend who use the same brand and would live to share this to them.
very helpful. Thank you.
You're very much welcome
For me, bitlocker is enabled but we do not know key. Everytime we try to wipe the laptops drive it just goes back to “choose an option” menu. It doesn’t allow to wipe
thx homie
You're very much welcome
Greetings Jay, we are all grateful for your expertise galore on all levels, thank you much!! I really feel dumb & dumber with my issue, somebody HELP!! I've got a Yoga 730 -15IKB with this error: Critical_Process_Died Windows 10 + my BIOS seems corrupted too as it won't let me do anything properly likewise with the Novo Button.
Various symptoms are:
1. When attempting a fix using USB, Error: System doesn't have any USB Booth option.
2. Attempts to use Automatic Repair & Diagnostic modes derails itself, circle icon spinning, then booths right into the Blue Screen troubleshoot page.
3. I'm able to open, BUT NOT START any fix-it options in Advanced Mode ie Startup Repair, System Restore, etc.
4. Password Corrupt issues: Unable to start any Fix Processes, access to start is blocked by Bios Password Error Pop-up Box, no matter which is selected.
5. Password Error Message: All fix options are redundantly plagued by the same Password ERROR Request to perform any actions, please input the right password.
6. In BIOS, all Passwords have been removed, exception, Administrative which has no such option to remove it.
7. How is this possible when removed properly, yet the Wrong Password BLOCK prevents all fixes to start?
At first, I took the Novo Button to mean an Auto-Fix Override when all else fails vs just opening the door direct to BIOS. My BIOS is stuck in itself, maybe it's a sophisticated virus of sorts? Am I the first with this? Any recommended pathway would be so helpful if you please...
The problem seems to be hardware and I suggest reaching out to the nearest authorized repair centers near your place for further assistance. You can find the list here: support.lenovo.com/ph/en/partnerlocator
@@askjaylee Hmmm, how about using a USB Programmer initiating support with 24EEPROM and 25 SPI flash 8pin/16pin chip?? Too complex? I really do appreciate your help...
Except for you never state when you press this button. Just that it has to be off when you start the process. Then. All of a sudden you've got this menu. Screen and idk when you pressed the button to start the process?
It’s not working for me I’m holding the novo button in and fn key plus power button and I’m not getting the same screen
My Lenovo laptop shows dash line blinking please help me...I have job interviews to attend
Trying this rn, I'm praying it works, it feels like my last hope
Hi. My lenovo C-740 had some update and crashed. It shows me the loading screen then goes blank. I hit the start/windows button a few times and I was able to have the blue screen option to continue/use a device/troubleshoot/turn off PC. When u try to troubleshoot > reset this PC > Remove Everything > it asks me cloud download or local install. I am not sure how to do either since I don't remember how i originally installed windows on it. Help!!
I have the same Lenovo c740 I'm having the same thing pop up after you hit the the restart thing and it has cloud download or local reinstall but I could have thought that the windows came already installed
Okay so boom I actually went ahead and clicked the local reinstall and then it brought me to the clean everything out you know and then it sent me to the reset PC so try it see what happened
Did you forget the C930 with NO button?
How do I reset the Leno yoga 7i? I have not been able to log in again
Provide the model at the support page: support.lenovo.com
Then check the user guide on how to reset it.
This video is way too long. Cut to the chase.
